This is an excellent plate frame for those looking to have a quality metal frame that looks good. I have used chromed ones before and they peel and rust with age. This is very sturdy construction and looks built to last. Time will tell obviously, but initial impression are very good. The mounting hardware included 4 screws of the same size, but my Honda uses 2 big and 2 small screws. Can't dock the plate for that. The main issue I had was the screw caps/covers. They would NOT fit for me. I got 2 on just fine, the 3rd took some effort. I mashed it on there after a lot of effort. The 4th, not a change. I tried prying it to make it bigger to fit over the screw cap holder and had no luck. Pried the other 3 off and bought cheapos form a local auto store. They matched and look great and were cake to install. As a bonus they were smaller and looked better because of it. The pictures don't lie and the screw covers are LARGE.The reason I still give this plate 5 stares are due to its outstanding quality. The screw caps were not a huge deal to me. Also, I contact DFDM through amazon and got a reply in under and hour! They quickly apologized for the inconvenience and asked what I wanted to do. I suggested a small refund to cover buying cheapo screw covers and they gave it to me with in minutes. That is customer service! I promptly ordered another one of these for my girlfriends car to fix her rusting old frame.This frame is of much better quality than ANY of the "chromed" and "stainless steel" plates I found at both my local auto stores. It is heavier duty and has a better finish. This plate frame also has great support to back it up. I also like that the frame is thin enough that it doesn't cover up registration stickers.

I ordered 2 of these frames to install on my new Subaru Forester. They are good quality, very shiny, and not too difficult for this 63 year old widow to install on her own. I had a question about the installation and heard back from Darius at DFDM quickly with clear instructions that answered my questions. Unfortunately, when I removed the dealers frame I found that there were only 2 holes screwed in the bumper and I had ordered the 4 hole stainless steel frames. It was my mistake and I was a little disappointed to now have my sleek new stainless steel frames missing screws and covers on the bottom. I emailed Darius back that his instructions enabled me to install the frames correctly and thanked him for his quick and clear reply. I also told him about my disappointment but was fully accepting of the less than perfect look. To my surprise he offered to ship me 2 new frames that were manufactured for 2 hole installations free of charge. I was amazed and overjoyed.So here is an excellent product from a manufacturer with fantastic customer service who goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers!! What is there not to recommend!

The frame arrived as promised and the content was as described, except for the fact that the person doing the de-blurring on the edges need more training! '''My biggest problem with this frame is that I bought it for my front license plate on my Volvo XC90. As the original frame/plate mount has threaded studs rather than screws, which I did not know as I have never had to remove the plate in the 8 years I have had the car, I'm now left with 4 screws and "anti theft screw covers" that's useless. As I was not writing the above to get a full refund, but rather the 5.-$ difference between what I paid and what I could have paid for a frame alone, I think this a generous offer, and I will use to pay for one more frame, to replace the broken one I have on the back of my car.I also upgraded my original 3 stars to 5 stars!The advise from the seller was to contact them directly if something is wrong with the product you receive from them, as they have seen that Amazon charge return fees, even for Prime customer/members (as in my case). I cannot overstate how pleased I am with the License Plate Frames from DFDM. I'm 80 years of maturity and have had and Club raced up to and including a 911 Carrera Turbo. I'm on my fourteenth BMW to include an M3 to a 650 Convertible and two X6s. They have all been strait original with the only aftermarket hardware being license plate frames. DFDM National leads the pack in quality, fit and appearance. They are sturdy with just enough flex to fit a moderately rounded license plate mounting bracket. Also, the frames are narrow enough to see all the writing on the license plate. I have Military Honor Plates on both current cars, (photos atchd). For those of you in the states that put salt on the roads I would recommend that you put a nice coat of wax on the frames before mounting. It will be much easier to clean any salt you may end up with on the frame.Finally, the service has been exceptional with easy contact with customer service and the CEO. A very nice way off doing business.
