It doesn't smell good as some of the other reviews suggested. I can't actually tell if it's worked any better than regular coconut oil.

Good healing power.

I had some kind of open weeping dermatitis for 5 months.........doctors gave several MIS-DIAGNOSIS and after taking an antibiotic, it spread like wildfire! literally burning and itching....making me insane. The doctors said only steroids would clear up the open sores, weeping and itching. I had already read what steroids have done to other people....and their antibiotic already caused me more pain and suffering....so I wasn't going that route. I looked up natural steroids and found LICORICE ROOT.....so I ordered powdered licorice root and made a poultice with flax oil and sometimes grapeseed oil. INSTANT RELIEF! Of course I had been trying to figure out what went wrong internally.....but never really could. The only internal thing that helped was a homeopathic remedy called HISTAMINUM HYDROCHLORICUM. I did not take licorice internally.....I wanted to, but since I didn't know what was causing this skin problem....I didn't want to rock the boat internally....just tame it. The licorice root healed the skin issue to a point.....so I needed something else to completely heal my wounds. I found ZEN HEALING BALM! Thank GOD! This balm is the bomb! Much of my skin was healed overnight. The older deeper wounds had amazing changes overnight, but took some time to complete healing. These were wounds that had severe pain, weeping, and itching for months! I had tried dozens of natural remedies.....nothing touched them. The licorice and the ZEN HEALING BALM turned this disasterous skin issue around in 1 WEEK! I still have to heal the internal cause though....still working on that.

Great stuff! I have been using black salve by the same brand. The first time around I didn't order this product, and the healing was MUCH slower. Second time around I used this, and it really speeded things up. I absolutely would not use black save without having this around to help with the healing afterwards.
