What software do you use for this?

I have not used any software for this, controller is programmable using on board programs.

I have a single led behringer theater light. i just want a couple of sliders to control brightness and colour temp. can i do that with this product?

Yes. It should easily control all the elements on the light. Just set the light to DMX channel one and press 1 on the left hand side of the desk and the sliders should do the rest :)

Are the scenes stored in non-volatile memory? (i.e. will they still be there if powered down and up again?)

Yes, if you the scene saved to a channel it will be there on reboot

Hi we have connected two lights to the dmx controller but the lights don’t work. they work with remote control. d001 &d017 selected

sorry for wrong. again: 1. to set your lights on :DMX , choose address on A001 or A017 2. if A001 or D001 all can't be controle, maybe The DMX signal is reversed. There is a black switch on the back of this 192-channel controller, turn it to the other side.

Awful interface, even worse manual…

Despite the positive reviews for this product, there’s no way I can possibly recommend this to anybody - beginner, advanced, and all those in between. I bought two of these - one for myself, and one for the theatre that I work in. The manual is just plain wrong in its description of the button functions on the unit; using an LEDJ Slimline 7Q5 RGB lantern, I have gone through every address with every fader, and I suspect that there is absolutely no output from this device! The videos on YouTube that everybody in the reviews are referring to no help at all unless you have a working unit - I followed their instructions to the letter, still with no result.Do not take a chance, as I did - you WILL regret it.

Great product despite major electrical fault

I purchased this for an event, upon testing it initially it worked but the power lead was somewhat temperamental, I didn't have time to send it back and wait for a return due to the date of the event. The day before the event I tried it again and the unit would not power on at all and I had no chance but take it to an emergency repair technician who unveiled something quite alarming. On the incoming power supply, one connection wasn't even soldered to the circuit board. Although this was a relatively quick job to rectify, It put me more out of pocket for such a fundamental part of manufacture. This shouldn't have passed quality control at the factory, and I urge anyone else to get thier unit checked as this could cause a serious issue if left unattended.

Great for a small setup

Instructions a little difficult to use at first but it is a great controller for the money. I'm still getting to grips with the full functionality but even basic sequences worked great for me
