Does exactly what it says on the tin

The only thing I was disappointed about, was the subjectively lacking quantity of use cases for WHEN to use splines vs other potentially easier options to implement.

An excellent introduction to spline theory and practice. The computer codes which are part of the book are a bonus for thosewho program in FORTRAN. This is my second copy.

Incorrect version was sold instead of revised edition.

Excellent content but is typewritten. Hard to read using "modern"-eyes. Aside from the presentation, the content is well written (as usual for de Boor) and complete. A very good introduction to splines and applications.
