I got this power washer using safety points from my job. Just received it today. Took less than 10 minutes to assemble. I already used it to clean my grill which took no time at all so I decided to clean my concrete patio. This power washer is fantastic. The foaming gun works better than I expected. Power is more than enough for jobs around the house. Unit does not feel cheap and is very compact. Even though I didn't spend money on this if I had to I would. Price point is right on.

Bought this a couple weeks ago and used it for the first time this week to power wash my Ipe deck after applying cleaner/stripper. I selected this unit because of the lower pressure and higher flow which is recommended for wood deck cleaning. The washer works very well - I used the 40 degree nozzle, it did a nice job of removing the cleaner/stripper with little risk of damaging the wood (unless you get within ~4"). There is noticeably less pressure than the 3000 psi pressure washer I am accustomed to renting - the gun does not kick back as much. This is a good thing when pressure washing a deck. Overall I am very happy with this pressure washer - it's nice and compact, great design. Looking forward to using it on my car next.

Great unit to wash your car or whatever you need to get clean. Just get yourself a 50 ft. uberflex hose and a stubby spray wand to use with it. Along with a quality foam cannon and you on your way to clean town. The hose and wand that come with this unit are fine but I wanted a longer hose and the stubby wand is great for car washing.

UPDATEThe unit I have now has no issues. I am really happy with the performance of it. It provides a good amount of pressure and runs much quieter than my previous pressure washer.————————————————————I purchased this pressure washer for a permanent installation in my garage. Everything was going fine until the machine started to surge. I checked the inlet and outlet fittings to ensure that the water flow wasn't restricted. The problem reoccurred intermittently over two more uses until something failed and water came pouring out of the pressure washer body.I have been trying to reach customer service for warranty support. I will update this review based upon that experience.[UPDATE]I finally reached customer support via email. Several voice messages were left on the support number in the documentation. I never actually spoke to a person. After going through several steps to document the issue Active agreed to send a replacement pressure washer.Today I unboxed and set up the replacement unit. It failed in exactly the same way as the original. When I powered it on the motor made a high-pitched whine and something inside the unit burst creating a significant leak from the body of the unit.

Unusable after 23 months and around 1-2 washes/uses per week. No modifications or different orifices. I am experiencing a massive issue where the unit doesn't power on at all. The GFCI outlet the unit uses goes green after pressing test and reset, but the unit will not power on.I contacted Active via email and they are trying to sort this out and help me troubleshoot the issue. I took apart the GFCI plug like they suggested and the black wire was a bit loose but after adjusting it and tightening it, it would still not turn on. I plugged the unit into a properly rated outlet without the use of an extension cord like they suggested, and it'll still not turn on.The only time it would ever turn on now, is when I turn it on/off dozens of times and hope to get lucky enough for it to turn on. AND THEN it would still die on me once I started washing my car. So I would keep having to do this dumb cycle the past few days when I want to wash my car.With all these current issues however, I love this pressure washer. Easy to use, everything is well designed and it's easy to use. I rarely had issues with it for the 23 months I have used it. However now I can't recommend it since it is unusable and extremely disappointing.

Probably one of the best(or best) portable electric pressure washers out there for its price point. Used it for the first time today to wash my truck and wow what a difference way more water flow over my AR 1800 psi electric washer. Attached the foam lance(1.1mm orifice) to the spray gun and ohhhh yeah thick rich shaving cream foam blasted on my truck(CHEMICAL GUY'S EXTREME BODY WASH PLUS WAX) with less soap in the lance(due to higher GPM). The only draw back of this unit is the hose which is a great quality hose that doesn't kink at all but its just way to short. A couple of upgrades like a longer hose(50FT) and quick connects you got one heck of a pressure washer.

I did extensive research for a pressure washer for mainly my vehicles and odd job around the house. This Active VE52 kept coming up. I'd never heard of it but have heard of Caterpillar and they make the pressure washer for them. So I figure I'd buy from the source and not spend the extra for the name Caterpillar. With an 1800 psi rating it puts out 2GPM! There are some that are rated 2500-3000psi not putting out 2GPM. This machine here is a BEAST! It is well designed and hold everything neatly and doesn't take up a lot of room to store! Best pressure washer I've had and worth every cent!

I have had this pressure washer for almost a year. It works great. I have cleaned my concrete patio, my vinyl siding and wash my cars and mowers regularly. The device folds up small and neat and is easy to transport and store. Do yourself a favor and get a set of quick connects and it is so easy to setup and tear down. I had a good gas pressure washer for the past 10 years. It did have a stronger spray but this new one has done everything I have asked of it.I had an issue with the pressure washer after about 6 months. I called the customer support line, got a real person immediately, and they solved my problem promptly. You have to love a company that takes care of their customers.I have recommend this device to friends and I am planning to buy a second device so I can permanently connect one in my garage and have a mobile one.
