7/8" Inch Flat Cotton Oil Lantern or Oil Lamp Wick with Purple Stitch. 6 Foot Roll

This is some of the Better if not The Best wick I have come across. Fir my lamps perfectly, has great pre-absorption and moves easily though the gears in the Burner. Has an excellent weave that draws up the fluid no problem there at all. Plenty of wick for your lamps/lanterns with his 6 Feet continuous length of wick. I highly recommend this wicking.

This wick is fantastic. Works the first time, and it just works.Dip the wick into the fluid. Go do something else. Come back, it's ready to light. I waited a whole second after the wick was saturated.. ready to go.I would bet my family's life on this light source. A product worth buying.

I have a couple of very old oil lamps and one of the lamps was missing a wick. I measured the opening and concluded that a 7/8ths inch wick was needed, so I placed my order. The wick came quickly and was nicely packaged. I cut a length of about 8 inches off the roll and put the wick in the lamp along with some newly purchased lamp oil. The wick was a perfect fit. I then gave the oil about 15 minutes to make its way up to the top of the wick and then ...the moment of truth... I touched the wick with the match of happiness and BINGO - I had light. I let it run for about 30 minutes to make sure everything worked right and the lamp was reliable. To be honest, I enjoyed playing with the lamp and watching the flickering light in the darkness, but that doesn't sound as analytical as checking for reliability. This isn't my only light source for a power outage but it might be my most entertaining one. Don't hesitate. Buy it and enjoy the light of a flickering flame like your grandparents and great grandparents once did.

I have no issues with this product. Re-wicked all of our lamps for our off-grid cabin and they are holding up well. Consistent light and slow burning.

My old lamp wick was getting down to the last and I needed replacement wick. Hard to gauge wick size to what was left in lamp, but this size looks to be a good match. Nice material and a good length that will be good for several lamp trimmings.

This is as advertised - a 6 foot roll of cotton lamp wick. Measures 7/8" wide, just like it should. I haven't tried it in my lantern yet but it looks like good quality and I expect it to work just fine.
