This pool vac is really good. Only problem is that large leaves clog the narrow passage pretty easily but easily cleared with a thin rod. Otherwise it is a lot quicker and easier to use than the standard pool vac that hooks up to the pool filter. The 3 -stars for "easy to use" is simply because of the clogging issue. Update - this was the 3rd summer of easy pool cleaning with the Pool Blaster. I used it nearly daily throughout each summer season. It’s still charges. It still does its job and does it well. I seem to have either smaller leaves or less of a clogging problem than I did at first. I have to say for the money this has been very cost-effective. Plus, it’s helped me lose a bunch of weight by cleaning the pool every day. Win-win!

This vac does the job. Gets up even very fine silt. It is so much more convenient than having to hook up the hose vac and then eventually clean the filter with debris that this vac gets up just as easy. I do agree with the reviews that it holds stones but it does not impact the overall function of the vac so I am not reducing stars. We have used it 5 times now and have been impressed each time. Clean up is super easy, can be done in a couple minutes with a garden hose.

The product name is purely aspirational - thought this thing would be able to vacuum thick algae, leaves and sticks off the bottom - nope. So then I thought it was a worthless POS and put it away for awhile. BUT - here is what it is good for: once you have your pool clean and clear after opening, this thing is really convenient for a quick spot cleaning before your pool party starts - I can zip around the edges of the deep end in 5-min without dragging out the big main vac hose. It definitely has a limited range of particle size - too small and it clogs the filter, too large and it clogs the main vac tube. Good for sand, insects, small leaves and acorns - that is the range. It is fairly cheap in price and quality, but long run time per charge. I've used it from the deck with the long pole, and also while snorkeling which I prefer. Another plus is that it is totally harmless for kids and they like to use it. It wants to float - wish It were weighted so that it would stick to the bottom better - I'm using a brick and wire ties to sink it. Underwater rechargeable dustbuster - set your expectations accordingly.

Not happy with this product at all. It is flimsy and does require effort to be held down as it lifts/floats off the bottom. I was fine with the holding down part, but the first time I tried it, it did not last long & stopped sucking. Gave it another charge and tried a second time with a worse outcome. Second round it was no longer sucking any leaves up & a total waste of time and money. The handle is flimsy, the bottom is small & when it did suck the first round, I had to constantly clear the clogged leaves. I do not recommend this model. I previously had a prior model from this brand I was happy with, but not this one.

This is the second time I've purchased this vacuum to have when I clean spas and sometimes I use it on pools if the mess isn't too big as I am a pool technician. Its pretty easy to handle and the suction is pretty good for the first 10 minutes. Once the filter inside gets covered in dirt you have to stop it and clean it before you can finish vacuuming. Even if the container itself isn't full of debris. Another issue is once you pull the vacuum up, whether you turn it off before pulling it out of the water or wait until after you pulled it out of the water, all the debris comes back out the bottom because the flap inside is very flimsy and does not seal it off to hold the debris in. The bottom of the vacuum is also very light so when you are pulling the vacuum toward you it often will flip upwards so it's not touching the bottom of the pool anymore. I only use it for very small quick clean jobs like spas and some pools, but if you're looking for something to do heavy duty work, I'd suggest finding a different product.

Best pool cleaning purchase I have ever made! Absolutely worth the purchase. Used it at the opening of the pool when the muck is still on the bottom. I am blown away by how well this just sucks up everything! For the first cleaning of the season, I did have to stop and clean out the filter a few times however, I will gladly clean the filter several times for the amount of muck this picks up (I mean clean, clean clean!). The speed & ease of cleaning the pool floor is game changing for pool owners. You can tell the moment you need to clean the filter, because instead of gunk going in, it kind of revolves around the system. The learning curve is pretty quick. The filter is super easy to clean, just open the chamber, take it out and rinse it off. It’s a fabric/cloth filter which makes it easier to clean than one of those paper accordion styles. I get a run time of about 40-45 minutes, and it takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge. I was ecstatic that I could use my own telescoping pool pole. I was worried that the length of the pole that was included with the system wouldn’t be long enough, but it’s a universal fit for my regular pool vacuum pole. It’s super light weight & easy to handle and manipulate. It can get into the edges of the pool like I’ve never been able to do with a traditional pool vacuum or robot. I would give this more stars ⭐️ if it was an option!!

Nice vacuum for a fair price. I vacuum my 24 foot above ground pool with this it takes about 30 minutes to vacuum the pool. The charge on this vacuum will last around 40 minutes before we charge this necessary. Functions good easy to operate wouldn't mind if it had a little more sucking power and a bigger head on it to make my job quicker.

Amazing product wow! The Saves me 30 minutes of awful hose wrestling when I vacuum. Suction power is great and it’s easy to clean. However, I wish the filter was a bit more fine (smaller perforations) to capture algae. When you vacuum it up about 20% or so will return once the water settles. Regardless this product is amazing

In Australia . The product worked great on my pool (approx 4m x 3m and 1.8m deep (3 foot in 1m for those used to imperial) . I used my standard pool pole since more sturdy than the sectioned pole provided in the box. Removed large leaves and fine grit. It has a rubber internal flap that prevents the vacuumed debri falling back into the pool when lifting it out of your pool when you have finished vacuuming. Have only used it once , but was so easy and quick and effective to use I would have given it a 5 star review. HOWEVER I had to downgrade 2 stars due to the charger provided - 2 issues - 1 no AU attachment so I had to buy an adaptor for electrical sockets in Australia AND 2 after first use and doing the second charge it failed and will not charge the battery in the vacuum anymore. So now I cannot use the vacuum until I source a new charger !

Tengo una alberca construida pequeña 3m × 3m x 1.40m de profundidad. Usé la aspiradora con la barra telescópica universal que tengo para la limpieza de la alberca, no usé la que trae ya que necesitaba llegar a profundidad. El resultado del uso de la aspiradora fue muy bueno, el fondo de la alberca quedó prácticamente impecable, fue muy poco el polvo que se quedo. En cuanto al material, el plástico se siente muy frágil y delgado, así es que hay que manejarla con precaución. En resumen, la recomiendo 100 %

It seems to work but isn’t worth the money it costs. Mostly just feeds dust back into suspension. I’ve reverted to hose attached despite the problems with pipes.
