Performs well
Works well. Just plug and play there was no configuring. I didn't know anything about switches, CAT6, POE, access points or patch panels before looking at this. I just ran the CAT6 (or CAT5) cable from the router to a patch panel, patch panel to any of the ports on this switch, then connected all my other jacks that were ran to the patch panel from various rooms of my house.

Great Product - Read the Description RE PoE Ports
If you're going to buy network equipment, buy Cisco. The low-end stuff like this is high quality, plug and play, and will never break. The higher-end stuff is more difficult to configure, etc., but at this level, that's not an issue. Read the description carefully - this has 12 PoE ports; not 24.

Overall good Cisco product
Overall good product. Couple of things to consider before purchasing are 1. All the ports are on the front right side so I had to use longer cables to reach the left side of patch panels. 2. My older rack is too narrow once the brackets were installed on the switch to allow the unit to slide all the way in. Flipped the brackets around and it sticks out some but no issues otherwise.

Plug and Play
The switch performed as expected. Only 12 of the ports are POE but that was fine for my use. POE is powering Yealink T42S phones easily.

Beware - Poor Service and Inaccurate Product Descriptions
I submitted a refund request because the product description clearly states 24 port POE switch. Their reply was "This is 12 poe ports in the original design". Yes and that maybe correct but no where in their description did it state only half of the ports are configured for POE. There descriptions and product info does not clearly state the true configuration of the product. You can also see many other customers have had the exact same issue. They will not allow for a refund or exchange of product. Their current product info posted for this: CISCO SYSTEMS 24-Port PoE Gigabit Switch (SG11024HPNA) Cisco Series switches work right out of the box, with no software to install and nothing to configure Designed for small office spaces, Cisco 110 Series switches are available in both compact desktop and rack-mount models Cisco 110 Series switches deliver the performance you need to run your business applications, including bandwidth-intensive video services, and avoid slow and sluggish networks Cisco 110 Series switches are designed to help conserve energy by optimizing power use without compromising performance, which protects our environment and reduces your energy costs

Simple
Just installed two of these, on in my house, and one in an outbuilding. I hope to install POE cameras soon. Works well without issue.

Made it less than 6 months
I had this unit operating less than 4 months, the unit looks like it fried. I tried contacting cisco and was told it only had a 90 day warranty. Who only give a 90 day warranty on a new electronic device. I thought Cisco was better than this!

Seems to be working fine though.
The switch was not new. It came in bubble wrap in a non descript box. Seems to be working fine though.
