Try putting an ice cube in your hand and blow on it - that's probably colder breeze than this device. Doesn't worth a penny, the cable is really short, the fan is LAUD. Doesn't really cool, don't waste your money here.

We tried to use use it in a tent at the beach. Unless it's on a very stable, level surface, it spills everywhere. The tray at the bottom is very shallow, so if it's not completely level, it'll spill.

I purchased this for my son's room to help cool him when he is at his desk. It works no better than a fan. Was disappointed and sent back.

I have been looking for a mini air unit for my desk space. The office is always so warm, but this replaces my regular fan to help keep the temperature cooler than the fan ever did. It’s easy to setup, quieter than my desk fan ever was, and really works at dropping the temperature. And it’s not overpriced like the other a/c-type fam a I’ve researched. It’s a good find!

⚠️ First, there needs to be information on this that indicates it only works in hot and DRY environments. If you live anywhere in the south east, don’t buy this. It won’t work. Besides, the fan in this unit is really pathetic. You’re better off spending the money on a really good fan and sticking a bucket of ice in front of it. It would work better. Will be returning.

Now that we're all working from home, we could all do with some extra home office comfort, and this desk fan adds a nice breeze across my desk. I've measured the temperature change and when you put cold water into this, it cools down my workspace by about 2° to 3°, which is significant.I really appreciate the fact this uses a USB power and not replaceable battery. The one thing that did surprise me was that it has an internal battery that charges off the USB so it doesn't need to be plugged in all the time. Nice feature!The only thing that I feel is a little clumsy is the controls are not super obvious and you have to read the manual to understand how to use it. The button control combinations should've been a bit more intuitive.Overall, I would definitely recommend this desk fan.

This is not worth $40! Should be sold for at least half the price or less. Small, not very strong and doesn’t cool very much with water. Positives: easy to use and very portable. Negative: you need to have it very close to you to feel any effects. Highest level 3 is still weak. I would have expected more for something I paid almost $50 for compared to other cooling fans.Second review updated 7/3/20: I just purchased a $13 handheld fan with usb charger that is more powerful than this product. I was so surprised. It’s unfortunate because I really wanted this to do exactly what it touts. This thing is tiny but it works. I took a chance getting this. Our room is always much hotter than the rest of the house as the afternoon sun hits our room. I've long wanted an evaporative cooler for the room, but my wife told me that they generally don't work. Online research shows me that they definitely do help, so I wanted to try anyway. This one was small (smaller than I expected), inexpensive, and a great way to test. If it didn't work that well, I'd only be out a little bit of money. On the other hand, if it worked well, then I'd also be using it for camping as it's got a built in battery so that you can run it without having to plug it in always! It's not going to cool down the entire room since it's small, but it definitely makes the surrounding area cooler. It's enough to cool down a workspace or a small sleeping area. I'm definitely taking this out to cool the tent when we picnic or camp.
