These are perfect size! If you feed colonies of cats and need to camouflage bowls these are purrrrfect! I feed colonies of TNR’s community cats and I use these as my water bowls.

Until I went to cut an opening I never realized how hard and thick coconut shells are! These are nice clean shells of similar size, and big enough for most community fish, including dwarf cichlids.Mine were darker than the ones pictured and the only thing they needed was a door. For the opening I outlined about a 2" flat-bottomed circle. First I tried a handsaw but that didn't work, so used a Dremel cutting blade, scoring it and going back over it several times. They sink immediately unlike wood and will probably last forever.

This product - the coconut shells, were exactly what we were looking for, a good size and the quality is good. I am also super impressed with their customer service, one shell was cracked and they helped me replace it with no issue and quickly. Great company!

I ordered this pack of 4 hoping to get at least 1 pair that could be 'trained' for equine rhythmic purposes. Imagine my surprise when I received 2 useable pairs (one rounder set for perfect canter/galloping sounds & a longer, narrower pair that produce a merry, spirited trot)! To say that I am 100% satisfied is an understatement.All 4 shell halves are very sturdy and with proper care & handling should provide years of rhythmic equitation. Thanks so much for the great addition to my percussion bag of tricks!

I ordered these for my preschool kiddos to use when singing the song "Jingle Bells" for a parent-child event. They went perfectly with the jingling of bells and sounded just like horses. The size was perfect and they were very clean. I'm really glad to find this item! Kindermusick used to sell coconut shells for sound effects but they were much more expensive. This is a great budget-friendly option. Get extra since they are real coconut shells and can crack from lots of love by exuberent preK children.

I wanted to monty python movement sounds in a Tails of Equestria game. I did not disappoint. I imagine people with birds or certain reptiles would enjoy these in their habitat.

Love these for my crafts, but was disappointed because two were cracked really bad to where I can't use them for what I bought them for, so that's why I gave it a 3 star.

Great for Month Python fun. The halves don't match perfectly, but there sound is great.
