Roku Smart Soundbar, 4K/HD/HDR Streaming Media Player & Exceptional Audio Includes Roku Voice Remote

I installed this a week ago on a 6 year old Sony Bravia with great results, I've run it pretty hard to see how it works. The primary reason for the purchase was to access Netflix as my old smart TV had apps preinstalled and didn't include Netflix, nor is it capable of downloading new apps.Likes - very easy setup, exactly as shown in the quick start guide and Roku's installation video. Down to only one control from two which is a big plus. I connected it to the HDMI(ARC) input and the TV powers up when the soundbar does. Volume and streaming options are all controlled with the Roku remote. The sound options are great with sound leveling, bass boost, voice enhancement and night mode. The sound options are easily accessible to be configured while you watch TV so it's easy to adjust for your needs. Bluetooth has worked well, streaming podcasts and music from my phone. The Roku processor is fast, it loads apps much quicker than my smart TV and video quality has been as good as anything I've seen on cable.Not so much - I can't say I have any specific dislikes as such, but a few things might disappoint some. The main thing is the sound. It is certainly good, but I wouldn't say it quite lives up to the claims (what does anymore?). The dialog quality is very good, music has been very good as well. For small speakers the bass is quite good, particularly with the bass boost, but it's still not like a large speaker that can really push some air. I will consider the wireless sub woofer that you can get from Roku. I did find that the sound leveling does tend to mute or soften the voice track so it can be hard to hear some voices, soft ones or whispering in particular. I guess that's to be expected since everything is compressed to keep the sound level. After trying the sound leveling out I now only use it with some shows that vary a lot or when I'm trying to watch TV when someone is trying to sleep.Side note - I saw a few comments in the reviews that you can't use Bluetooth headsets with the soundbar. This is true, but if you download the Roku app on your phone you can use your phone as an alternate controller and you can run the audio to you phone and use your earbuds, wired or wireless. I've tried it numerous times with my Bluetooth wireless ear buds with no problems.Overall - I am far from dissatisfied, being very pleased with the purchase. I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their TV audio, stream shows and simplify your television setup!

We had a media streamer (with its remote), tv (and remote), and a sound bar with another remote. 3 remotes to what television. The sound bar is older and sort of supports arc, but not can only turn the tv on/off. Audio was kind of flaky - it sometimes worked, but other times the volume was too low.As you can read, this was a complicated mess and a pain to use.The Roku sound bar is amazing so far. Most important to me: it simplifies using the TV. One remote that controls sound, tv and what we are watching. I know this isn't a "wow" feature to a lot of people, but when you go from 3 remotes to 1 - amazing.Second: audio is a huge improvement over our old setup. It sounds great and the volume gets as very loud if we want it to. We sometimes had to struggle to hear the old sound bar. Not sure why, but it was not a good experience. The Roku sounds great.Third: I like the Roku experience. Our other TVs have Rokus, so it is easier when everything has the same interface.Fourth: the remote is nice and simple. I'm a fan of Roku remotes.I do have a complaint that seems like it could be solved. Since I have to sign in to Roku, already have an account with subscription channels, why couldn't the sound bar (or other Roku devices) get setup automatically? I know this isn't a specific issue with Roku, but it is a pain to login to Netflix, Hulu, etc.Anyway, complaint aside, this was a nice upgrade in our household and will make our lives less frustrating. Now, just need to find something to watch.

Update: I added the Subwoofer and WOW this makes the experience amazing. There is such a great home theater experience in the room with a lot of depth and clarity. I would highly recommend purchasing both but the standalone soundbar is a complete solution on its own.I have been looking for a soundbar for my Samsung TV for a while now. I have been torn with purchasing an inexpensive soundbar versus the expensive brands with the trade-off of quality over price.About a week ago it was suggested to me by some friends to look at the Roku soundbar. I have used Roku for streaming for years and love their products but was uncertain about them being in the speaker business. I did a lot of online research and the reviews seemed too good to be true. I took the gamble, purchased, and received it yesterday.Hooking it up was a breeze and the sound quality is amazing. Its the best of both worlds, great price and quality that rivals the high-end competition. I am so impressed that I just purchased the sub and cant wait to get it.Two of my favorite features are the speech clarity and volume leveling, they make the viewing experience much better. Being able to understand speech more clearly and not having the commercials come on louder is amazing.If you are looking for a great sounding soundbar look no further. Amazing sound quality, easy to hook up and includes a 4K Roku built-in.

Definitivamente la mejor alternativa para tener un muy buen sonido y tiene Roku integrado para disfrutar de plataformas de streaming como Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Google Movies, Cinepolis Klik, etc.En cuanto a conexiones es muy fácil de configurar el Bluetooth, tiene entrada de audio óptica (la cuál funciona muy bien para modelos de tv sin HDMI ARC, funciona excelente para conectar las consolas de videojuegos como Xbox360, XboxOne y PlayStation) y puede controlar el audio, encendido y apagado de la tv mediante HDMI ARC.Esta Barra de sonido ha excedido mis expectativas.Lo malo, para una mejor experiencia de sonido hay que comprar el Subwoofer para los Bajos y aparte las bocinas satélites para una experiencia al modo teatro en casa.

Muy buen audio para tu tv, no veo tanta necesidad del sub, a menos que gustes de un sonido muy potente al ver películas o tu sala de tv sea muy amplia. Pero si lo tuyo es un sonido moderado claro y definido, con esta la armas.Batallé de inicio para hacerlo funcionar con una USB, se tiene que descargar la app para ello, no la lee de forma predeterminada. Buscándole en las descargas disponibles probé con 2 que no eran las oficiales y me descontaron $80, una de ellas funcionaba a forma de suscripción, ojo con ello. Después de conectar y desconectar varias veces la usb, me permitió descargar la app oficial, la cual es gratuita, pero si me hizo pasar varios corajes y pensar un momento en la devolución, fuera de eso es un producto genial.0

No suena mal, pero no es nada del otro mundo. Sirve para mejorar sonido de TV’s in poco viejas. La calidad del audio es mejor de lo que esperaba, aunque nada sorprendente. La calidad de imagen es muy buena… Sólo tiene un pequeño defecto: La interfaz. Roku definitivamente es una pésima alternativa. Me quedo con mi Apple TV. Esta barra no vale lo que cuesta.P.D. En Roku no puedes ver HBO Max ni Star+

The media could not be loaded. Excelente sonido, cumple perfectamente para lo que fue hecha, que es realzar el sonido de cualquier tv. Trae todo lo necesario para conectarla mediante HDMI u óptico. leí algunos reviews que dicen que no se le puede conectar el subwoofer o satélites de Roku pero a mí sí me aparece la opción y estoy en México. El volumen llega hasta 50 y en 20 ya se escuchan las películas y música con buen volumen.El vídeo que les dejo de muestra está en volumen 18

me gusto el producto, excelente sonido e imagen. solo hay que considerar que su uso es para canales de estados unidos (me refiero en el control). a mi no me afecta tanto pero si maneja los servidores nacionales en mexico. tambien a considerar que solo tiene conexion WIFI no LAN; asi que seria bueno que se intregara.me gusto mucho esta barra. buena compra.
