I like everything about it, but I only wish there was a sure way to make certain that no hacking capability was built in (for ANY device like this, not just this make/model). I will note that the two center contacts are still there, unlike some competitors that show a photo with those data contacts removed. The computer and phone seem to know nothing about each other with this in between, and charging happens through it, so I will trust that it is fine. I just wish the data contacts were also missing on this device.

I expected a three pack of USB-A to USB-A connectors. However, I received a four-pack instead (I’m not complaining) Two are USB-A to USB-A adapters and two are USB-A to USB-C adapters. A quick test shows that power passes through as expected. I have not checked to see if it is power-only yet. I had hoped to be able to determine this by visually inspecting the USB-A connectors and see only two gold contacts (1 and 4) for power. However, I see all four contacts on all the USB-A connectors (note 2 and 3 are for data).

These sync/data blockers are simple, but important if you plan to charge your phone or other device using public changing stations.

This has the two center lines, which are used for data. Don’t be fooled. This is NOT a data blocker!

They only allow charging; no data transfer. Bought one for me and 2 for gifts.

Our car has Android Auto on *both* usb ports, and it was getting annoying to have to deny access every time we wanted to charge.I used one of these on my cord and everything's great now.
