H.O.T.S. [DVD]

Fantasy girls in every frame

I was worried about this movie just being about naked women, but I was surprised that this movie provides a lot more. It has a lot of elements of comedy, in a cliched manner, but still surprising how much it has. It has car chases, people falling in swimming pools, food fights, Keystone Cops rountine, animals scaring people, slapstick, person dressed up as robot clumsily moving about falling down stairs, candid camera prank, people stuck in elevator, animal getting drunk, person singing a song by the beach with guitar, stereotypic fat person, stereotypic nerd in glasses, of course it has its share of topless women too, bad guys after money, clever use of duct tape, disco dancing, catfights. I was rather pleased about this movie because it couldn't be taken seriously. It's funny because it's silly, not because it was clever comedy, and it wasn't just about topless women. Somethings it doesn't has are guns and timebombs, but it can't have everthing.

This is by far no great cinematic accomplishment. However, it's a good movie to watch on a Saturday afternoon when there's nothing better to do. It's a funny, sexy teen sorority college movie with playboy playmates from '79 and should be taken as it is. In the beginning, the movie doesn't make much sense, but as it goes on...it's still really bizarre. To put it another way, I thought it was worth the $7 I paid for it, so if you're interested in a H.O.T.S. time, check it out.

HOTS was exactly as I remembered it. I hadn't seen this movie for many years, but I was still familiar with the story line. For some reason I also got this movie confused with another similar movie called "Squeeze Play" which came out around the same time. At any rate, I enjoyed watching this movie from my juvenile past. Wish I could be more informative, but I gotta get some rest. Perhaps, I'll add more later(?)

What can I say? It's great getting back most of the fun teenage romp movies of my youth and finding H.O.T.S. available was a real fun blast from my past.Seeing the movie unfold now that I'm older and anxiously awaiting the end where you find out what H.O.T.S. really stands for (no I won't tell you here but looking back at the time I was like DUH!!!) was funThumbs up Amazon for bringing back all the movies of old that we all love.

The members of H.O.T.S. sorority begin their crusade to party down and woo every male on their unsuspecting college campus. Dressed to thrill, and flashing mile-wide smiles, the lovey ladies transform their formerly uptight university into a sex-crazed fun house. But all is not well for the fledgling sorority, as the snooty, prim and proper girls of the Pi Sorority try to stop the H.O.T.S. girls at every turn.

HOTS - Help Out The Seals.....uh huh....two Words- Susan Kiger!! I remember her from her Playboy pictorial, January 1977....W-O-W! Her scenes are worth the price alone....and the football game...!! Yes, it's all great fun....! recommend this film for a silly, sexy diversion from life's trials and tribulations.

T&A at it's unabashed finest, a classic The Citizen Kane of boob movies. Pre silicone Pboy playmates. Sandy Johnson. . . Yum, Kiger, and the late Pamela Jean Bryant, (a Jack Hoff favorite) combine to make the sound unnecessary. What plot? I only give it 3 stars because the plot gets in the way of the action. If you like this, you will love Superchick.

This film reminds me of "revenge of the nerds" only with sororities instead of fraternities. In fact if it was not for the fact that H.O.T.S. came first I would say it was based on it.A small group of girls at university decide to set up there own sorority in responce to the way they are treated by the girls in the pi sorority. They go head to head with them playing pranks on each other that often end up in nudity.The film ends with both sororities playing a game of strip American Football, in which all players loose their tops.This film is cheezey but loads of fun, I really enjoyed it and if you are a fan of B~Movies you will love this. If you liked "revenge of the nerds" as I did, well this is not as good but still worth watching.
