I was a preschool teacher, and am a Nanny now. I have been using oversized wands for over 15 years. I suggest you add corn syrup, or guclose to bubble solution. Or look up homemade bubble recipes that make stronger solutions.They're fun wands for kids and adults. The children I took care of would take them to the park with us. Parents and children alike would be amazed by our bubbles. And there are plenty of wands to share.

We got it for our LO's birthday party and it was SUCH a hit!! Kids and adults loved it! Such a fun activity to have! Definitely recommend.

Wingardium bubbiosa~ I purchased this set for my four little nephews and niece whom are 1-3 years old (all walking).Of the large 5 wands you receive, Slytherin and Hufflepuff are superior (green and purple work best). The other three wands tend to foam bubbles together, rather than producing bubbles that fly freely in the wind. As Disney's Pocahontas was singing Colors of the Wind, she only meant the colors reflected off the bubbles created from the green and purple wands.The smaller wands are great...if you have a party with a bunch of little kids and you're trying to quickly entertain them for few minutes. Otherwise, they basically belong at a different bubble party. I offered them to the kids, and they were ignored. They ended up being little fiddle toys they'd grab here and there when playing outside with their water table, but eventually ended up in the trash.The dishes for bubble solution included in this set fit too exact to the wands. The little orange dishes for the little wands are pointless. No child has enough restraint to carefully tap a tiny wand into a tiny dish of bubble solution. Even if someone did, they aren't deep enough to hold enough solution for more than two rounds of bubbles. The blue dish for the larger wands work if you dip exactly flat, and only work for a few extra rounds of bubbles before needing to pour in more solution.I ended up finding a large plant pot saucer to use for the kids to dip the wands into. Trust me, it worked so much better. It was deep enough to hold a good amount of bubble solution, and wide enough to have more than one person dip a wand.

We discovered our daughter loves bubbles, so we have bought a lot of those bubble jars with the included wands. Well now I have these and they are soo much fun for our family. I can create more bubbles and bigger bubbles, for tons of fun for my daughter.

These work as intended, my 3 year old and I had lots of fun playing with these. Easy to use, like the different sizes and varieties.

My kids completely loved these; they played with them so much this summer! Every time we went outside they were begging to blow bubbles. There's enough variety in this pack to keep small children interested for a while, instead of losing interest quickly as with regular bubbles. Also, the bigger bubble wands are much easier for small children to manage, as is the waving (vs. figuring out how to blow instead of spit). These held up pretty well with a lot of use from enthusiastic four year olds. This was a great purchase and I would definitely recommend to a friend. I wish I'd found them sooner.
