The self sealing option does not work. I received standard. Tried to order self sealing tubes again, but it says "standard" at checkout.

You are right , there is a flaw in their system, I also ordered " self Sealing " as it says on the package , but received just the standard tube, of which I already have. No reaction from seller, seems they dont care as long as they get away with it. Or haven't looked at their own site since they began. Wont buy again. Bell WAS A GREAT COMPANY!

Is the size the diameter of the metal rim, or the rubber tire?

Hi: The tube fits the diameter od the rim when installed. After you fill the tube with air it fits into the tire also. It will fit snug on both. Thanks Dan
