Once I got it out of the box, I love the way it felt in the hand I love the raised features of the pin holder. Only thing I didn't like was to gritty feel inside the holder but it's a pin holder and it's not like I'm going to be drinking from it.

Beautiful
Very cool, I used this in my bathroom as a themed toothbrush holder. Some random blue paint spots, and the base is deceptive, but otherwise gorgeous. The thick base makes it look like it's lower inside, but if you look at the pics it's obviously a little shallow, and I didn't pick up on that. Still super pretty, sturdy statement piece, I love it. Had to one star off for the paint and shorter height.

This is great. Beautifully made, and very well detailed, it is so much better than I had expected. I won't be using it to hold pens, but just to display on one of my shelves full of weird and wonderful things (of which I have far too many). If you are thinking of getting one you won't be disappointed, especially for the price.
