KBS Coatings 65404 Xtreme Temp Coating (XTC) 1 Quart Can Clear

What is needed for clean up? I just purchased this and it says nothing on the can. Throw my spray gun away when done spraying or can this product be cleaned up with warm soapy water or what is actually needed?

Very easy to apply and extreme adhesion when applied per the instructions.

For my application that will only see 400° continuously the clear coat is perfect. I was able to mix pigment and pearls for a very nice 6-7 coat finish. However this stuff needs to have a very serious warning to the users that until it is been fully cured per the instructions it is about as soft as cold butter, literally. It will pick up thumbprints and fabric textures if you have to transport it from your paint booth to wherever you're curing it. I was able to use c clamps as cradles to stick my parts on the barbecue. It's also worth noting that if you are mixing pearls into this paint that on the curing process any contamination will burn and discolor The Pearl in small spots. It definitely makes pearl finishes very difficult to get perfect. Especially frustrating because the imperfections will not be visible until after the caring process. It may be possible to cure the paint between pearl and clear coats to address the issues, and wiping between coats is essential. Even so it is very difficult to fix Pearl without going back to base. All in all I will say I am fine with the imperfections to know that I'm never going to burn my paint off of my turbos, and without the custom powder coat price tag.
