I bought this to give copper bolus to LaManch dairy goats. The answers to questions seemed conflicting but I purchased it anyway. It is to large to hold the adult copper bolus for goats. I will try as some suggested, using something to hold it in the end. I like the length, more goat user friendly than one used for dogs. I wish one was available with a 3/8 size end would be ideal. It seems to be a stronger type plastic so am hoping the goats cannot chew into it as they did destroy my dog one after doing 12 goats twice a year.
