If Apple designed tripods!🌳
Peak Design have pulled out all of the stops to make this, an ideal, compact, travel tripod.ProsExceptionally well thought out design details.Innovation as standard. For a compact, travel tripod, it’s sturdy enough.A pleasure to use.ConsJust one minor niggle and not at all the fault of the product. If I had bought the carbon version, it might’ve been a touch more comfortable to carry in cold weather - but that’s a lot of extra cash to part with to address a very minor niggle. The model I bought is aluminium and so is cold to the touch. I really felt that when hiking in the Derbyshire Dales a few weeks ago, with temperatures at C. -10.ConclusionI’ve begun to use a tripod more often when I’m out and about in the woodlands and forests. For me, this opens up the new possibilities, amongst them, using HiRES mode on my S5 to create 96MB files and focus stacking.Much improved process and workflow. The integrated head is a marvel, I love it! (I usually ditch the tripod and go hand-held as my other tripods are cumbersome).

Perfect travel tripod
This is a quality tripod that's brilliant for travelling. Whilst it's a little heavier than the Carbon Fibre option, the extra weight means it's that bit more sturdy and robust compared to CF versions, which is something I personally prefer. The cheaper price point compared to the CF version is also attractive - but for me, it's a better tripod because of the weight. It's also not really that heavy and packs super easily into the side of my camera bag, hiking backpack or main travel bag. I had an issue with legs unscrewing on a K&F Concept CF travel tripod I initially purchased, but the legs lock off at maximum extension on the Peak Design tripod, meaning there's no danger of them coming loose, so is worth the extra spend compared to the K&F alternative I initially went for. There's also a handy little tool included to tighten the tripod as the clamps loosen over use - which is brilliant to have. Whilst I use tripod for hiking and travel, it's also become my go to tripod for all my film and photography projects, and works brilliantly with the Peak Design camera clip and plate system. Still an expensive option but worth it for me.

Arrived time, good condition as described
This is the tripod that apple would make if they made tripods. It works well with lottos helpful intuitive practical additions. Maybe look through the on-line demo before buying if you have any second thoughts.

Good but ridiculously expensive.
Good quality but rather expensive. So far so good. It's possible to unfold and close down rapidly once practiced. Should be half the price though.

Fantastic bit of bling, stable and easy to set up.
Compact and stable quick and easy to set up, if you have been thinking of getting this tripod but been hesitant due to the price if you can afford it just get it you won’t be disappointed, though I have had to purchase the head adapter so I can use other heads for video and believe this should be already included, now to sell my now surplus tripods!

Ideal Travel Companion For Canon M50
I bought this as a travel tripod to go with my Canon M50 which I find is an ideal travel camera. The tripod is well designed & seems well built & stable. I have only had it a couple of days so haven't really had a good chance to evaluate it but it seems well up to the task. One unexpected bonus is that the Peak Design standard QR plate supplied with the tripod is so small it doesn't obstruct the battery/SD card cover so can be left on the camera unlike the much larger plate for my Manfrotto tripod. All in all very happy with my piurchase so far.

Well made tripod
Nice tripods and it's well designed with feet locks, head all smooth and working well. The aluminium is cheaper but on heavy side. Recommended.
