TRUPER HB-2-1/4M 2 1/4 lb Boy's Axe, 28" Hickory Handle

Very cool axe and is perfect for splitting kenneling for outdoor fires. I bought two, one for my son and one as a gift. My buddy carry’s it on his UTV and has used it several times.

I bought 4 axes to have a trophy shop make Graduation presents for Firefighters coming out of a full time academy. They Turned out great. Have no clue if they will be a good boys axe in the field cutting wood, but I will say they look nice quality and have nice wood handles on them.

Never turn a young outdoors person with an ax too large for them. The size and weight of this ax is ideal. Training should start before they are turned to the woods.

Great for what it is. A cheap axe for my son to learn with. It needed sharpened right out of the box but seems to be holding an edge well.

Horrible quality. Chipped/broke with my son’s first use. It was his Christmas gift and past the return window. Really disappointed.

I had just sharpened this axe to go to work on some fallen black walnut blocking my driveway and within 5 whacks my handle snapped.

Muy buena la hacha, buen material lo recomiendo

Buen tamaño, aunque para mi gusto le falta un poco de peso. Yo la uso para dividir ramas y troncos medianos para leña. Pero por el costo está muy bien. El único detalle es que no venía con Fijo hay que trabajarlo un rato y puedes sacar algo aceptable. Sería interesante que tuviera un estuche para transportar.

Excelente hacha. Muy buen valor por el precio. El acero es un poco blando y habrá que afilarla seguido, pero eso es menor. Muy buen diseño de mango, ergonómica y cómoda. Corta y parte bien diferentes maderas. Pongo una foto junto a la Fiskars X15 (también muy buena hacha) como referencia. Recomendada 100%
