Everything Else Tastes Like Styrofoam In Comparison - Black Jewell Is the BEST!
I adore this popcorn and I was so sad when my local grocery store chain decided to only carry the Black Jewell microwave version (which isn't nearly as good). Amazon was my savior and I was so happy to find Black Jewell popcorn kernels in a 3-pack for a great price! This popcorn is so good and tasty that you will not even need butter. It's fabulous just popped the old-fashioned way in a large pot on the stovetop with a bit of salt. Yes the kernels don't pop as large as Orville Redenbacher but those taste like styrofoam compared to Black Jewell. Black Jewell also has a slight crunchiness to it that's unbeatable....It's the best - Just buy some now. You know you want to!

Expired? Hmmmm
I am a popcorn fanatic. I eat popcorn at least 4 times a week, and am an expert in the various methods of preparation. I am a loyal consumer of two particular brands, but when I saw and read about this, I had to try it. I ordered the three pack of the black.Received them and within minutes, I was popping some in my silicone microwave popper. They came out with an odd texture (yes, I regularly pop small kernel corn in my microwave, so I know how it should be). Also of note were how many didn’t fully expand, even though you could see they had popped. You know the ones that are almost a whole kernel, but have split open with a hint of popped corn peeking out? Anyhow, I ate them, and truth be told I liked the flavor, but was disappointed in the texture and fully popped ratio. So, on to stovetop…..I followed the instructions on the website, (which is pretty much how I do it anyway) and away they went. Same thing almost. A slightly better texture (which is normal on stovetop vs. microwave), but still, the fully popped corn was lacking. Flavor was good. So, out of curiosity, I went to the jars to try and determine an expiration date. Would you believe that the dates on all 3 jars were (Scratched?, Rubbed? Lasered? Alien Abducted?) off? You could read the rest of the words, but the dates were all magically gone .I am not going to accuse the seller of anything, but MY OPINION is that this was done intentionally. Also, in MY OPINION, there could only be 1 reason why anyone would do that. So onto Amazon to return them……..NOPE! Item is non returnable! Well, folks, if you get these and are not satisfied, don’t let this stop you. I initiated a chat with Amazon CS and received a full refund in minutes. Amazon may be taking over the world (please start with Russia), but their Customer Service is unparalleled! So,I really wanted to like these, and supposedly, the manufacturer is also the seller, so no, I won’t be recommending this product nor purchasing again. I’ll stick with the Amish farmers.

The Best!
I am super picky about my popcorn and for real, not all popcorn is the same. This pops small and it is so very tasty! I have bought it many times and give it as gifts to the other popcorn lovers in my family! ❤️

Superb Popcorn
This is the best popcorn I've ever had. Soft and full of flavour. The kernels are tiny, which takes a little getting used to, but the taste is excellent. Worth the money!

First time eating this type of popcorn-even though the kernals ...
First time eating this type of popcorn-even though the kernals are smaller than some of the other brands I've been using they are very tender and seem to have more fiber. The only drawback is the hefty price per canister. I will not be ordering it once I run out but maybe sometime in the future again.
