I’ve used so many different kinds of straighteners but this one doesn’t make my hair feel fried. It makes my hair so so smooth I love it. It heats up fast and it’s not too big so you can fit it in your bag if you’re traveling.

My hairdresser recommended this straightener when we couldn't find the one that she really liked on Amazon, which was about $100. She had lent it to me to try out the expensive one. I don't remember the brand, butShe found this and thought it sounded pretty close, and a lot cheaper, I think I paid $39 for it. It's wonderful. I love it and it works as well as the more expensive one.

I ordered this flat iron. It's hard to see where you turn it on (the tiny power button is in the middle of 3 tiny gold bars on the side of the iron. After it heated, I started with the first small section of hair, but my hair slipped right through the iron. After several attempts, the same thing kept happening. When the iron was completely cool, I inserted a piece of paper in the iron, and it too slid right out. I could actually see light between the two wands/ Apparently the iron did not close completely, so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement arrived yesterday; it's nice and tight and does the job. Also, it's a LOT less expensive than several other models. So all in all, I think it's a good deal but I need to practice a bit to get the result I'm looking for (not the fault of this particular flat iron).
