The truth about Conti Motions....
Tired of spending big money on tires that last 6000 miles? Then take a close look at the Conti Motion tire. Although the tread life of these tires is pretty much average, the price certainly is not. The cost of a tire often will reflect on it's quality and design, but not always. The Conti Motion is a premium tire at a budget price. I have had several sets, and the rears were made in Germany and the fronts in Malaysia. I see no difference in the quality. Both versions only required 1/4-1/2oz. to balance them.On the road, these tires felt better than the Metzler Interac8's they replaced. Slightly lighter steering (not twitchy), but much better feedback at higher lean angles. And seat of the pants, feel better in the wet.Something I have noticed with Z rated tires......they feel much lighter weight wise than H or V rated tires. I think this is to reduce heat at higher speeds. Consequently, they have less rubber depth on the actual carcass. They will rapidly wear through to the steel belts after the wear bars are reached. So don't plan a long ride if the tire is approaching the wear bars.Although this is not a gumball tire designed for track days, it feels very secure at peg scraping lean angles.Hope this review helps with your tire buying decisions.FWIW. I have 50 years riding experience and come from a sport bike background.Ride safe.

Super sticky and great response
great price, great response have only had it for a month or so but I ride daily mostly for pleasure! I installed it my self on the front of my 2005 Kawasaki ZX-12R and so far so good! I've got just under 700000 miles on my bike and I've been through A LOT of tires! I replaced a Pirelli Diablo that was separating( because I hit a large rock on the highway that fell out of trailer in front of me ,which also bent my front wheel) So, that being said I'm very happy with the tire so far,(and my new front rim), ill keep you posted on mileage! Be safe out there!!

Very good tire option!
After 1500 miles on my '04 ZZR1200, great tire so far! Sticks well, even in the wet. Stays planted throughout the turns, but able to make mid-turn corrections if needed. Stable on the "slab" at 80+, no darting. If it performs this well all the way until it's used up, along with the extended mileage Continental says it should be getting, I'll be purchasing this tire again! It's also the matching tire for the ContiMotion Sport/Touring Motorcycle Tire Rear 180/55-17.

So far so good!
First thing I noticed was this is a pretty soft and sticky tire. Unsure how that will affect longevity, but time will tell. For the price, I'm not too worried though. Have it on my cafe style bike and so far within the first 100 miles I have noticed a big improvement over the previous Bridgestone I had already. I definitely recommend.

Ehh?
Tire has good grip for dry days i havent ridden in the rain since i got my car, tread pattern is pretty deep in my opinion so i think itll last a while. My only issue and im not sure if its the balancing or the tire but ive had a vibration in the front adding hair helped a little but i still feel it and definitely see it when i let my bars go, ill have my wheels rebalanced during this off season if it continues ill chock it up to i got a bad tire and replace it before next riding season.

Tire is unsafe.
After trying to deal with Continental with an issue with these front tires I have to warn people to stay away from this tire. I tried 2 of these tires having the same problem with both. Over 2.5 ounces to balance them, dealer warned me that is the most he has ever had to use. I rode my bike down the street, and sure enough a wobble noticed at between 40-65 mph. I had them put on another that I ordered, and the same thing. I then had them check out my bike, and all was good. So I asked for a different brand tire, and no more wobble. Only 1 ounce to balance and that is because I have tire pressure sensors. Continental offered me no assistance, and then I found out about all the recalls on continental's 120-70-17 tires. This one is not on the list, but it is only a matter of time in my opinion. This is an unsafe tire.
