I've been using this hat for the past several days, and I have to admit that I like it! A cold front has moved back in here in the mid-atlantic so I've had several occasions to wear it. A few insights are below:- Fit: The hat fits my head pretty good. It has ample stretch to it (I don't like my hats too tight or it gives me a headache). It is 'long' enough that I can kind of make it a scrunchy beanie, by tucking in the bottom back portion. If I don't, I just have a little tower on my head, which looks like of silly. It hasn't been overwhelmly cold, so this hat has been perfect for that. I've been using it here when it's been in the high 30s, low 40s and it keeps my head and ears warm.- Construction: Overall the knit hat seems pretty well made. I wasn't expecting anything exceptional. It does have a neat design on it (which is to say it's not just plain) however I see a few loose yarns and pilling on the hat after a few uses. Overall, I'm pretty pleased and hope I can get a lot of days out of this hat before losing it.- Bluetooth: I'm connecting this hat with my iPhone 6s. I've never had any issues pairing it. The first time was pretty quick and as the instructions said, it tells you what name to look for when pairing it to your phone. Once that's done, each time I turn it on and turn on my bluetooth on the phone, I have no issues. I haven't really tested the range as I pretty much always have the phone in my pocket. However, I did try it where I left my phone downstairs and was able to get upstairs to the second floor. When I was on the other side of the house, the reception was cutting in and out, although I also chalk that up to my concrete walls and not having 'clear space' between the hat and the phone. Range has been adequate for my usage.- Ear pieces: So this unit has two square pieces...one that is larger than the other (main unit). They connect via a thin wire and are inserted into the knit pockets of the hat. Overall, the sound is not stellar but then again, I don't think I care that much. I just wanted to some music to listen to while walking the dogs, but didn't want to wear huge headphones or ear buds that fall out every two seconds. It doesn't get amazingly loud, but then again, I don't need them to so I can somewhat pay attention to my surroundings.- Controls and charging: The ear pieces are removable so the hat can be washing. Reinserting them is not hard. Just make sure you align and place it right so that the controller buttons match the patch on the outside of the hat. There is a small opening so you can charge it without taking the ear pieces out, however, it's a bit harder than it needs to be to be able to align the usb into the unit. I have just been taking it out and charging it.- Battery life: I've used this for a few walks - 3ish, where my walks last about an hour long and I haven't had to charge it yet. The only thing I wish they included was the battery indicator on the phone so you can see how much life is left before you need to charge it.Overall I'm pretty happy with the hat. And look forward to using it through the end of winter in the the colder spring days.I did receive the hat at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review. The media could not be loaded.  Awesome quality bluetooth and awesome quality hat. This hat is very soft as advertised making it comfortable to wear for long periods. It's not too tight on the head either - it was comfortable around the ears but didn't feel like it would fall off. It has plenty of extra room if you want to tuck your longer hair up into it as well. The color that I received, Melange Grey, looks just a bit darker in person but I'm sure that is because of the computer monitor. It still looks great and was in perfect condition when I received it. Because it is a cable knit, I can't say this hat would be best to keep your head warm in very cold or especially windy conditions but any other time than the dead of winter and this would be perfect.Bluetooth was awesome. The Bluetooth part goes on the left side. It has speaker on both sides. Very easy to connect with my phone. It was easy to change the volume and turn or and off the music. The clarity of the voice was excellent and the sounds when listening to music were better than expected considering the small speaker size. It was easy to switch between devices too so I didn't have to sacrifice convenience. At a moderate volume the battery did last about five hours as advertised.Cons: If you want to wash your hat you can not remove the speaker. It means you can't wash your hat at all.Overall great product for this price. I received this product at discounted price for my honest and unbiased review.

This is seriously one of the coolest things I own. I'm so impressed with this hat all around. First, the hat itself is super sexy. It fits well on both my and my hubby's heads and we are very different sizes, the design in it is really stylish, and the material feels very high end.The speakers are a much higher quality that I was expecting, and give a nice full sound- better than my fancy earbuds! Super nice to lounge in because when I turn on my side I don't have an earbud gouging my ear anymore. Bluetooth connection was super quick and smooth- no static, popping, or jumping.The buttons are a patch on the side over one speaker, which I think is super cool. The mechanism does come out so you can wash the hat, which is a super great feature and it does remove and go back in place. It takes a little finesse as it's a tight fit, but I'd rather it be tight so it stays in place than be easy to remove the probably 3 times ever that I will do that.Battery life is very long, volume is great, controls are easy and responsive- And the call microphone is amazing as well! I've given up on the ear clip bluetooth microphones because my mom can tell right away I'm using one and HATES it, so I always had to go to handheld with her. I called her on the hat and she didn't have a clue. I walked away from my phone and the connection held strong.Comes with a charge cord, it lights up when you plug it in so you know it's working. I can't say enough good things about this hat. I'm thinking of getting a second one just because I love it so much I want two. I was given this hat at a discount for my honest review.
