2023-08-17 update: photos added after walls painted. Shorter wavelength UV delivers more energy and will cause fluorescent and phosphorescent paints to glow more brightly. These LEDs are 385 - 400 nM, compared to others that Only list 400 nM. They draw 12 watts per 20 feet, and come with a 24 watt power supply for a 40-foot strip (2 x 20-foot strips) with a power splitter cable. Yeah - I'm running 48 feet on one power supply (29 watts) - but all seems well. - The only detractor? The kit only includes 12 attachment clips for the entire 40 feet of LED strips. This is only one clip every 3.3 feet, not enough (and the sticky tape was NOT labled 3M). In my application, I needed a clip at both sides of the U-Turn, as well as the beginning and the end of the LED strip. Fortunately I had an accessory pack with extra clips - but this kit should have contained 20 clips. _ Not withstanding, still probably one of the best kits available. I used 2 of the 40-foot kits to run 6 x 12 foot lines (3 x 24 foot lines, 2 on one power supply, the third on the second). All lines are equally bright. Waiting for my artsy wife to add the UV flowers on the opposite wall. Will update when wall has been painted. Phosphorescent paints attached. My son likes it.It looks good, but he said it's hard to put up

We've used these in the past and they lasted 2 years without issues running minimum 12 hours/day during that time. They recently stopped working so we ordered another set. Turns out the issue was the power adapter! Replacing the adapter has these working like new! Still, for as much as we ran them and the cost we really can't complain. They were bright enough to illuminate our ping-pong table. Playing with fluorescent orange balls these have the brightness to make playing easy and fun!

I would buy again. It's high quality. The brightness isn't too bright.

Compared to a 4’ fluorescent black light I have from the seventies, these LED strips put out too much visible light and not enough UV light. The result is still nice, but much lower contrast between items that are glowing and those that aren’t. I much prefer my old tube!
