Took the doors off and needed mirrors to keep me legal. At $40 these mirrors are a good price and do the job just fine. They arrived in 2 days which was sooner than stated at time of purchase.Mounting:The instructions are incorrect as they show the support bar mounting below the hinge. The support bar mounts above the hinge which is better because it makes taking them on/off a little easier. Just loosen the bottom nut and they come right out. Only tool needed to mount was a crescent wrench and in 5 minutes I had them both mounted. The ball joint at the back of the mirror provides decent adjustability and in a few minutes I had them adjusted to the angle I wanted.Functionality:The mirrors aren’t huge but they are slightly convex which is good. You get a decent field of view. The passenger side mirror is fully visible but just barely. A shorter driver with the seat pulled up farther than me might have the passenger mirror partially blocked by the dash.So far the mirrors have stayed in place but I have not driven above about 55 yet. I cranked the nuts down pretty good so I don’t expect them to move. There is some slight shaking but I can still see without issue. I also haven’t noticed any whistling noise that I’ve seen mentioned in reviews of other mirrors. But with the top and doors off I’m not sure I’d hear it anyway.Overall I’m happy with the purchase and would buy again.

The mirror is fine for the price point, it keeps me legal. I did not want to waste a lot of money on mirrors I will only use a few times a year....summer in New England is short....so these fit the bill. They’re good, not excellent, but the mirror is sturdy, they seem to do the job. I did have to bend the bar to get the holes to line up. The instructions can go straight to the trash when you open it though. I had to tweak mine to fit my 2015 JK. They work very well and I appreciate this as an affordable option! I installed mine in 15 mins and referred to other customer photos on here!

Others have said, the instructions are wrong for this product. They show the top and bottom arms with one above and one below the hinge, which gives the mirror two friction points on the vehicle and helps keep it from moving. Unfortunately the bracing bar isn't long enough for this. You can either put both on top of the hinge, or pretzel the top bar down to meet the bottom bar. I bent the top bar and I've not had any issues with the mirrors moving up to 55-60mph so far. Even with that, I think good value and I'd buy again.

They assembled in minutes, and installed quickly too. They do hold their position but you have to tighten them down hard to the hinge. There's a little bit of shaking when on the road, but really it's to be expected. I can still see everything clearly and it's not annoying. One thing is that the rubber washers aren't durable enough to take more than a couple of mountings each. I will be replacing them with metal washers. I'm not deducting a star because they do work as advertised and they even included a bag of extra rubber washers to use as replacements for worn ones. I'd just rather use metal washers so it's a personal preference.

Work fine

The frame and mirror are made well. The rubber washers and lock washers are the issue. When assembling, positioning, and tightening the mirrors on the door hinge, I heard a tearing/grinding sound coming from under the door hinge where the rubber washer and lock washer were located. The lock washer went completely through the rubber and scratched the bottom of the door hinge. I stopped at the local hardware store and purchased new rubber washers. They were made of a harder rubber rather than the gummy ones that came with the mirrors. I also purchased normal, thin metal washers. After I set the mirror assembly in the door hinge, I put the hard rubber washer on followed by the thin metal washer. I put the lock washer on then the final nut to finish it off.With the original rubber supplied, it damaged the paint under the door hinge. After I replaced the rubber washer, I was able to go 70 mph without the mirrors moving after making the adjustments mentioned above.

I wish the instructions were a little more clear. Take your time with them. They felt like imitation IKEA instructions but were not as clear. Quality of the parts is good and once you get everything adjusted they work just fine. Nothing fancy but for the money no complaints here.

Decent quality. Winged it because instructions are misleading. I’ve used these up to 50 mph. Around 30mph and up they do shake a bit but they stay put. Not bad for a low price, definitely worth it
