5.25 to 6.5 Motorcycle Speaker Adapter Pair Rings Compatible with Victory XC Cross Country 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015

Worked perfectly on my 2016 Magnum. Went from stock 5.25" to 6.5" WDX6MOTO. They did not come with instructions, but seemed very straight forward. You use the bolt and nylon locknut to mount the adapter to the inside of the speaker mounts. The offset for my case was inwards, and thats it. that simple.

Speaker rings did exactly what they were intended for.

4 stars for no instructions or diagram. Great for the application. I got lucky after attaching both rings to the 5.25 housing I noticed the top of 1 ring was higher than the other, it's slight but big red flag. I laid fairing back on to see if my eyes were playing tricks on me, sure enough there was a gap on the one side between fairing and inner fairing. So by looking at the correctly installed against the other I noticed that half of the inside portion of a ring is wider than the other half. The rings have to be attached with that wide side towards the bike frame as the rings appear circular, but are slightly oblong. If you look at the picture you can see wide part of the rings are at the bottom. Using blue loctite ( your discretion, because you do need pliers to be able to tighten) attach four machine screws through ring to housing attach tniy nuts then NO loctite 4 wood screws through speaker to ring small hollowed holes. DO NOT SAND DOWN THE RINGS as I have read people doing. Luckily I'm smarter than a monki lol

East to and install and now got bigger speakers on the cheap

Easy to install, it is what needs to be and its exactly for Victory Magnum or Cross Country.

Had a problem but figured it working great, it was me putting it in. Just needed to pay attention the way it goes on.

It was easy to install and came with all the hardware.

Only thing I dislike is the lack of speaker mounting options. The ds18 I paired them with mounting holes don’t line up on all 4 parts of the basket. Other then that all good

Fit to the stock 2017 Victory XC cowling is perfect. Being able to swop out the stock 5.25" speakers to 6.5" is nice. I was only able to get 2 of the 5 holes to line up on the 6.5". I think that's only due to me using marine speakers. I've seen other customer use this and their speakers holes lined up.

Used on motorcycle

The speaker grills did not come with instructions. After reading and looking at them could tell they went with larger side into the bike frame.The big issue if you have a cross country tour or a windshield that mounts above the faring the top screw on speaker mounts make the faring sit slightly higher and cause a gap that was not previously there on top of the fearingI spent hours sanding the top of speaker and speaker insert tow finally get faring to sit flush like it previously did.I was changing my windshield to a smaller style by V stream. There is nothing in there instructions to state there window shield mounts under the faring not on top like the tour model I currently had.After all the time I spent trying to get faring to sit flush as the bike was previously realized it would of been fine with the new windshield design.Lesson learned if your using a top mounted windsheild on your bike prepared to sand the top of speakers and the top of these mounts to have faring sit flush on top. If you windsheild sits underfaring there should be no modifications needed
