Decent price
Could be more absorbent. Washed them a couple of times (without fabric softener) to try and increase absorbency but not much luck as yet. They are ok for the money and hoping they will improve with repeated washing as others have in the past.

Wash well
Bought a quantity to match items in our tearoom. Washed many times now (NOT using conditioner) and am surprised they still are not as absorbent as I'd prefer. No doubt over time they will "loosen up". Nice colour, good and thick.

Traditional cotton tea towels.
Bought as I needed new tea towels and I detest the new "fashionable" micro fibre ones. I went for these as they were the closest match to my existing tea towels. Not been used yet so I can't really comment on absorbency but I hope they're up to the job. At least these aren't that thin you could shoot peas through them....
