Works for portable occasional use
Didn't last 6mos. Started swelling up after 5mos, stopped holding any charge at around 6mos.3 stars because I'm abusing the battery. Let me explain. The jetpack is tethered 24/7 so it's constantly charging. This cooks the battery. The jetpack and the battery was never ment to be in use 24/7.So if you use your jetpack as designed, where you run down and recharge the battery, I'm sure you'll be fine. But people who tether 24/7, like me, should change to a w9 battery with overcharge protection (which I did).

Got this for a verision jet pack
It is much better than the original OEM battery. Holds a charge a few hours longer than OEM.

Battery gets really hot. SWOLLEN BATTERY.
I was glad to get a replacement battery for my hotspot sent to my house. However, whether the battery was charging or not, the battery overheated a lot.The hotspot would automatically shut off when it got too hot. This made it difficult to complete and submit projects online because you never knew when it was going to shut off. I mean it is hard to keep an eye on the hotspot and continue to work at the same time. When the battery overheated, I would have to take off the battery compartment cover and let the battery cool for awhile before restarting it. This took time away from my work.A few months later (and after the return window closed) when I took off the battery compartment cover to let the battery cool, I noticed the battery appeared to be a little "puffy." The swelling continued until the battery popped off the cover permanently. The battery is so swollen right now I am unable to replace the cover, and the hotspot shuts off more often and for longer periods than it is on. So the search begins again for another battery...(sigh)...Anyone have a suggestion?
