Works Great for Apple CarPlay Stereo
Installed this in my Jeep TJ for use with a Pioneer Apple CarPlay Stereo that also has an aux audio input. So it covers both USB and 3.5mm in one unit. Overall it seems well built and at a good price point.

Very modifiable
Thankfully the entire female plug end is soft plastic and can easily be cut away with a knife, I had to cut the tension reliefs off the wires to fit this plug into my dash. I even knicked the usb cables shielding, which by the way, the usb cable wire has shielding, and the usb charge function still works flawlessly. The mountable end fits nicely into a 27mm, but would be too small for a 30mm hole. Use a 1" hole saw if that's all you have, but definitely hand file or low speed dremel the hole to 26mm round prior to oversizing it to 27mm and you'll have a very clean install.

Does the job, mostly.
Give you USB and AUX (3.5mm stereo). Aux works fine. USB is okay, but it will not work with Android Auto. Not sure what the problem is, but I cold not make it work. When I took the USB out and connected my phone directly to my head unit, it worked. So if you are planning to use this with an Android Auto enabled system, look elsewhere.

Extends power, but not CarPlay
I wanted to use this to create a usb port in my truck. When connected to my stereo, the power worked but would not allow CarPlay to work. I think maybe a six foot stretch is too long for CarPlay?
