This item is no longer supported and should not be for sale
Griffin has discontinued this product and will not even give you the drivers - there's no way to make this item work, and it should be removed from Amazon.

Super awesome gadget!
Just bought one of these from this supplierBOY WAS THIS THING SUPER FUN AND LOVE THE QUALITY OF THE KNOB! This is is fully programmable alright. While it did take a night writing a program for both Windows in Linux (not sure why they never did...), it was a fun little project. Might buy a few more because they are so fun, high quality, affordable price, and discontinued so if I wanted another one later I might not be able to get one. Once I polish up my program I’ll post it on github for people.

Stylish paper weight.
I bought this as a hacking project to control IoT devices and develop custom API for Bluetooth control, currently a stylish paper weight.Don’t recommend unless you *really* know what you’re getting into

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT- NO SUPPORT
buyers should note that this product is no longer supported in recent mac operating systems. The app for your computer is no longer even available from Griffin, and the product support pages no longer work (the griffin website does not have support software or pages for this product any longer). Old and unsupported versions of this software did install under 10.14.6 for me, but did not function properly. The manager systems do not work and only by trial and error did I manage to enter any controls at all. If the price seems to good for a controller such as this, this is likely why. I will be looking into third party bluetooth software to hack mine, but I do not particularly expect a great deal of success. If you are looking for simple shuttle controls for a DAW or video editing (my main requirement) I would recommend looking elsewhere.
