A single bag will provide about 0.5 cubic feet of mixed material which works out to ~24 square feet per bag over uniform smoother surfaces.

Do you need to put down a primer over the plywood before installing your product?

Yes, a primer is needed for adhesion to wood substrates like plywood and OSB. Custom makes Levelquik primer to go with this product. Custom's MBP Primer can also be used.

Did you folks use the metal lattice with your projects?

I did not, but my project wasn't very thick. There is usually a phone number on the product that an engineer or tech familiar with that can give you advice.
