Thought I’d come back and share my thoughts on how the trimmer and blower have been after 4 years of use! Overall, I’m beyond impressed at the quality and lifespan of a product in this value section of the power equipment market. Extremely easy to use since the string is pre rolled, no mixing gas or clogged carburetors, and it’s extremely lightweight for a trimmer. I have a half acre lot and 75% is chain link fence plus outdoor patio and swingsets etc. I’ve never had any issues with the blower or trimmer and it’s the best product for the money! I’m in my late 20’s and thought this was mainly for older people with small houses/condos but its handled everything I’ve thrown at it. Batteries still last ~30 minutes 4 years later and I have not stored them like I should. I leave them in the garage and only remember to bring them in when it’s below 0 degrees F (live in Ohio with ~4 months of winter pretty cold at night and ~2 months of summer at 80+ F). However, they charge extremely fast and having 2 batteries is PERFECT because one charges while you’re using the other and then I swap them to finish. I recommend anyone buying these to get 2 batteries or splurge on the larger pro batteries with more amp hours. These have entry level batteries so set your expectation accordingly. To be fair and list some cons (which compared to the strengths the cons are not really even bad) I am 6’0” and it is a little short for me (that’s to be expected though). I used to work at a major home improvement store in the outdoor power equipment section as well as working in the lawn care business and out of all the battery powered trimmers I NEVER saw myself getting any of the WORX products. No one ever came in with a bad reviews of them but I just felt like they were for old people. I was wrong because if I took care of a gas trimmer and blower as well as I take care of these (not well) I’d probably be on my second set by now! This has completely changed my outlook on their products and I’ll be looking to get more in the future. Entry level cost to get into the battery powered products plus low costs on other products in their portfolio makes it the best battery powered value in the market. Quality for the value exceeds every expectation!

I got this on sale for 47% off at just under $96 USD. It's an insane value at that price. Assembly was a cinch. I literally slid on the weed eater guard and fixed it in place with one screw, slid on the weed eater guide wheels, and snapped the leaf blower tube pieces together and snapped that on the leaf blower. Assembly was literally less than 3 minutes. The two 2000mah batteries each provide a surprising amount of battery life, but I'm going to get the big Chungus 8000mah battery. Battery charging is pretty slow, and I'd like one battery charge to do it all in one shot. As it is now, I need both tiny batteries to do the yard. Definitely getting the big boy. This comes with only one weed eater string spool, so order extra. Don't be cheap... get the official Worx brand that's made to work with their stuff. Cheap string is cheap for a reason. So far, battery life is surprisingly good, the weed eater does its job just swimmingly, the guide wheel and spoke make edging easy without a dedicated edger, and the leaf blower is plenty powerful for me. And I plan to get the Worx hedge trimmer that's compatible with the battery pack. So far, so good. Will advise if that changes. Get it while and if it's still on sale. Still a great value even if it's not on sale. No complaints at all.

The materials are cheap- obviously plastic and made in China. But the design is actually brilliant. So what you get is a very functional tool that beats a classic string trimmer and is very easy to use. I would only recommend for people with small to medium yards. I’ve used it a couple times and the string is surprisingly strong and cuts well. The wheels on the side to create the edge are a nice feature. The biggest con is the battery charging time: 5 hours. And every time I adjust the angle of the head however, it feels like I’m going to snap something.

great for older men (i am 81) light weight easy to use. used blower to clean out garage. put battery in edger /trimmer edged patio, sidewalk, driveway. continued to fence line, about 150 feet. battery finaly gave out. put in fresh battery finished fence. stll had 3/4charge on battery. compleatly satified. will now top off battery for next week.!!!!!!

3 stars because the blower is trash. Yes this is a great deal for the price, but that blower doesn't last too long on batteries. I ended up returning this bundle and buying the Worx trimmer alone. The fast trimmer works great, and if you move along quickly, without letting your yard over grow, you can trim up in one battery cycle. Easy and comfortable to move around with. Sure its gas-free, but honestly, when that battery dies, your not going back out side till next time after the battery is fully charged. The trimmer design is nice that you can switch trimmer to weed eater. The only assembly is the cover at the bottom if you wish to use it. On the other hand, the blower had 2-3 speed setting. I always needed to use the highest settings. I also have a pretty big driveway/sidewalk, which is where I needed the blower for, but those batteries are no good for the blower.

I couldn't be happier with the WORX 20V 12" Cordless String Trimmer! It was incredibly easy to assemble right out of the box, and the battery charged quickly. The lightweight design makes it comfortable to use, even for longer yard work sessions, and I love not having to deal with extension cords or gas. It has more than enough power to trim around flower beds, fences, sidewalks, and trees, leaving my yard looking neat and well-maintained. I ordered this set after a 2 other cordless trimmer sets failed.. one the battery just stopped charging entirely, and one the motor failed. I decided to try the Worx brand and am happy to report that it works better than expected! Build quality is fantastic. Nothing feels cheap and fits nicely in the hand. It came with two batteries and I was able to trim and edge my entire yard and sidewalk, as well as blow the clippings away with both. I have a .5 acre lot and a lot of sidewalk so it took me about 45 minutes to complete. Trimming was easy and effective, but the edging was the part I was most pleased with. Excellent results, and the button to feed string made the whole task seamless. Being able to swap between edge and trim was a little tricky as the angle is hard to change due to the head of the trimmer being resistant and no button I could find, just had to muscle the angle. The blower is powerful and light weight so using it for an extended period of time was no trouble unlike some brands which are back heavy and make my arm fatigued after 10 minutes of holding it steady. Between the trimmer/edger and blower you will be hard pressed to find a more versatile yard set for the cost.

First, the batteries come at roughly 40% charge or 2/5 lights for those who are curious. This is to make them safe for transport. You need a Phillips screwdriver to remove a single screw to put on the trimmer guard and then you need to put the screw back. The assembly was straight forward and took around 3-5 minutes without opening the instruction manual. As others said, it takes a bit of force to adjust the head, I found placing a foot on the guard (Without it running) and then moving the trimmer up or down makes it a cinch. Eager to test the blower and weed trimmer I went out to my test patch of lawn. I trimmer around my front porch and it took down the grass like butter, light weeds also fell under its wrath, the problems began when I tried to wack a more heartier weed with either a green or woody stem, it just wouldn't do it. These were not thick weeds, these were stringy. It also had a severe problem on my test of trimmed thick grass that was only slightly over ankle height. I gave the patch of grass a hair cut and went back and forth trimming it slowly and watched as the battery depleted quickly and I didn't finish the patch. Next I decided to put the battery into the blower and use it to clear the debris from my porch the trimmer left behind. I was delightfully surprised at how much get up and go the blower had, it made short work of the debris and I cleared out some leaves and dirt that had gathered around my entry way with no problem. I would give the blower a 5/5. The trimmer is okay for light work, a touchup here or there or perhaps if you are diligent with upkeep it might be okay. For a large cleanup job or a yard with thick grass you might want something a bit more powerful.

But for everyday maintenance? This cordless setup is absolutely perfect. ​The blower is lightweight, nimble, and perfectly suited for sweeping up grass clippings, sidewalk debris, and the exact kind of messy splatter the weed trimmer leaves behind on the driveway. It is the ultimate tool for those quick, small jobs where dragging out an extension cord would take longer than the actual cleanup. ​The trimmer does a great job managing edges, and the convenience of just popping in a 20v battery and getting right to work makes yard maintenance a breeze. If you buy it for quick, convenient cleanups, you won't be disappointed.

Blower simply stopped working after 5 months of light use. It is impossible to get support for this product both from Amazon and from Caterpillar. I've tried to reach their phone line listed in the order - they are only accepting calls about power generators there. Amazon simply does not give any other option to get support. Generally was happy with the products before blower stopped working. Battery life is a bit low, but Ive got two batteries with my order, which is enough for my needs. All of that does not justify such a poor support. PS: got my issue resolved from worx: they send me a replacement blower. So I’m correcting my rating. That said Amazon still need to fix the link to get support.

Not new to Worx garden tools, the set is great and works as expected. Blower could be more compact and less noisy but is OK for this price. A better blower from Worx costs as this set.

Well after charging the battery i decided to go out and play while the 2nd battery was charging and was impressed with not alone the weight of each piece but how quiet they were and i was able to do not only my front and back yard trimming and edgeing with the grass trimmer but use the same battery on the blower which i found to be lightweight and powerful enough and very quiet compared to other's and only used 2 outta the 5 bars on the battery
