We’re of mixed opinions on these cable ties in our house - one of us really likes them (admittedly, that someone is me and I’m very tactile and visual) and the other of us, thinks they are a little large for a cable tie. I can see this is a little larger/bulkier than the typical velcro ties we’ve used in the past, but I think these are easier to use and more pleasing to your fingers.I like that the magnets in these cable ties are pretty strong - strong enough to grab through clothing if you want to use these to “clamp” headphone cables down so they don’t flop around. They are also useful (and fun) on the fridge and other metal surfaces. They work nicely as bookmarks, sunglasses gripper, key tacker, etc. I love the silicon coating, making them non-marring to surfaces as well as a nicely grippy surface that is pleasant to touch (and play with). I’ve found it’s as much fun to try to come up with ways to use these as it is to use them.For me, there’s a fun factor to these, which outweighs that they are a little bulkier as cable ties. If you are trying to minimize space with your cables, that may be a factor though. This isn’t as big a deal with larger cables, but is more noticeable with smaller cables. It might be cool to have these in a mini size as well for that reason.I purchased these cable ties at a promotional price in exchange for my honest assessment and review of the product.

As far as function goes, I'm quite satisfied. I primarily use it as a phone stand (horizontal) and a cable/ headphones tie. But it'll do great as a note holder on your fridge or a magnetic board.It's almost 4 3/4 in long, and a ad over 3/4 in wide, not quite 1/8 in thick. It's covered with bright coloured silicone, so it's nice to the touch, grippy, non-slip.The reason for one star off is that once you bend it, it stays kinda waivy. Minor thing, but it bugs me a bit. But if you're not a perfectionist, you, probably, won't mind it at all. I guess, there's a metal strip inside that keeps the shape. So I do wonder how long it'll be before it snaps. I might update this review when that happens, if I remember. ;) Another thing is it doesn't work for me as a vertical phone stand. If I get the right angle, it falls over, if I get it to stand, the angle is too small, 35-40 degrees off the surface.Note: I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest unbiased review.

As a phone stand it's kind of pointless (it doesn't give a great angle), in my opinion.As little cable clips and organizers they work well. Kind of a cute stocking stuffer for the techie in your life.I like them for holding my headphones' cable when I am working out.Seems like they are made of a durable material that will continue to function.I received these at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

When I received these I just sat there bending it back and forth then it became a quest between the 2 of us finding ways to use these. I was given a discount for a honest review and I got to say this was so much fun. The quote on this bendy magnetic thing is perfect, "What's this thing for?" That is immediately what I thought, then the ideas started pouring in. I have a shelf that comes out of the dresser next to my bed but for some reason I always lose my glasses on there during the night. Probably because all the stuff on there and they get pushed back, but no more. I put one on the refrigerator and it held 3 small flashlights with batteries in them. My husbands phone is a Note 4 in a case and it held it up no problem. See pictures. these things are so versatile. Great gift, I know I want more.
