The marketing and glossy packaging of this product is reminiscent of the kind of thing you would expect to see with a worthless miracle cure supplement sold through a multi-level marketing get-rich-quick pyramid scheme. Whoever is advising the company to take this approach is doind a great diservice to the real science that may lie behind NR. "NAD levels fall 65% as you age! Niagen boosts NAD levels 40 - 50%." Copying big pharma's use of relative values that sound impressive but that most people don't have the skills to understand. Using their ad chart showing a max NAD level at age 30 -- let's call that value 100 -- declining to a minimum at age 70 -- let's call that value 1 -- a 70 year old man may very well increase his NAD level 50% to a whopping and hardly noticeable 1.5. That said, there is an abundance of legitimate research on the potential benefits of NR supplementation. This product appears to be the best available and likely worth a trial run. After one month of 300mg/day I've personally noted a definite improvement in sleep quality and possibly a percieved increase in exercise tolerence. I plan to continue using and experiment with a slightly higher dose for one more month.

This is a good product, but I’m not sure why Amazon asked me how effective it is for pain relief in the questionnaire for the review, because I would def not advise this product for pain relief. But I think this is more Amazon’s fault than tru niagen’s fault because Amazon is a very power hungry company that propagates white supremacy and hatred. They also are extremely manipulative and use tax havens to keep themselves from having to pay their taxes. Anyways, tru niagen is a great product because the extra NAD+ can really help with regards to giving your cells the energy they need. I prefer this to taking caffeine because you can still sleep when you need to sleep when you take this product. I do think it is a bit pricey and miss when the product was cheaper, but I still buy it for now and would recommend this to others.

I purchased Niagen after doing some extensive reading and figured it was worth a try. I am 63 and suffered a severe health issue a year ago. I was feeling rundown and weak after the experience and made the commitment to myself to radically improve my physical health, diet and mental health. After I started taking the Niagen, within 60 days, I realized I was feeling so much better, full of energy and just happier. I'm no longer downing Advil twice a day for my arthritis. I sleep better. As another reviewer stated- don't expect good results if you're thinking this is going to resolve bad health habits. Premium gas in a broke down car ain't gonna make it run better. I highly recommend this supplement if you are already in good health or on the path to improve your health.

I received with a broken bottle yesterday

I bought this supplement after reading all the good reviews about this product. After taking the supplement for a week, I started developing heart palpitations. I decided to stop taking it and the heart palpitation disappeared after two days. I think it is not suitable for everyone. Check with your doctor before taking this product especially if you have heart conditions.
