I have just used them with a nellcor sat monitor for my infant. The monitor keeps saying replace sensor and won't give me a read. Any suggestions?

You can only use a Nellcor probe with the Nellcor pulse oximeter. Make sure you have only Nellcor to Nellcor oximeter. Also your cable may be faulty, the one that connects the probe to your oximeter. Be sure all connections are snug. Be sure probes are fairly new. When they get old they tend to get dry, don't pick up good pulsatile wave form, with heart beat. Hope these suggestions help. Otherwise call you DME company to bring you anew oximeter, cable, and probes. Durable Medical Equipment

Are these reusable? My granddaughter frequently pulls hers off thus going through too many replacement tapes.
