I have a couple different brands of dekers and these are the heaviest duty. They don’t bounce around the ice and work well with kids. Recommend these over other brands.

The bar works as expected for working on stick handling. The bar feels well made. tTe inserts into the feet on either side were tight so they wouldn’t move, but easy enough to remove, and the bar itself is metal. I was using this indoors, and even if you clip it with the stick it seemed to stay in place pretty well. With only one bar coming in the package, it’s hard to do most of the more advanced stick handling techniques, so I would recommend buying at least two for effective practices.

I love how easy this is to adjust the height and add more speed deke’s to it for different on or off ice training drills. Great training tool for stick handling and hand-eye coordination by itself or can be used with other training products. I would recommend this product from Hockey Shot.

We have two kids who are seriously into hockey and play a level up from what their age group would normally suggest. They get street and ice practice several times a week and we give them every opportunity to practice their game. This gizmo has been a nice addition to their kit. Bullet points for brevity:[PROS]* great on ice - tall enough to allow a puck to slide under* high enough to allow a biscuit training puck to slide under for street/ice-less practice.* extremely well built - despite being run into, it's held up perfectly* rail will pop out of sockets if run into, which reduces the chance of tripping or injury* part of a larger system that would allow interconnecting several rails, as well as nets etc[CONS]* not quite tall enough for a BALL to make it through, even on the highest setting* egregiously high priceThe latter point is why we're docking a point - this is yet another stupidly high priced hockey accessory. It's high quality and the integration with other pieces is excellent (several of the kids' team-dads have other bits to connect) but we'd have liked to see at least another rail and base included at this price. Regardless, it gets our recommendation. If you can get the other team dads/moms to pitch in and buy compatible parts, it makes more sense.

This means it can be used all seasons along and in situations like we have now with many arenas being closed. This system is best used to improve stick handling, speed and accuracy.My nephew who plays competitive ice hockey found this to be an effective tool to improve his and his team mate's puck handling skills. He likes how the height can be easily adjusted, that they stay firmly in place on the ice and how durable and well made they are. They can definitely stand up to banging and punishment. The interlocking design is also a big bonus since more pieces can be added to design different routines. The only drawback is the price, which starts to add up when adding more pieces. But overall, it's a worthwhile investment, especially in a team setting. Full marks from me!

The speed deke trainer is an awesome on ice resource for hockey players everywhere. It comes ready to use out of the box. It has a solid metal construction and durability factor unlike any other stick handling trainer we have used. We especially love the pivoting feet and that you can connect several trainers together to make your own unique drills. We also love that you can adjust the pedestals - making this the perfect drill tool for even the summer months as you can pass a small ball or road hockey puck underneath. Highly recommend getting two of them.

I use this for land stick handling. It's really useful. I'm not very good at hockey, but I've been practicing a little bit almost every day and I'm seeing the results.I can toss this in my hockey bag for stick and puck practice.it'd easy to setup and seems very durable.Highly recommended
