A classic looking alarm clock, plastic construction, looks good, seems your paying more for the design than the build quality as the back looks a little cheap? The alarm isn’t a bell ringing as with a traditional alarm but a beep similar to a digital watch. I also had a slight issue removing the battery cover as it slipped and fell into the space at the bottom of the click! Managed to fish it out again. Takes 1 x AA battery. Press the button at the top to engage the light.

This clock is simple and elegant with a retro look to it. It is lightweight and very easy to use, just like alarm clocks of old. The clock has legs at the front only so that it sits at an angle, which makes it easier to read. The alarm-off button at the top also activates two little lights on the face of the clock so that you can press it anytime to see the time in the dark. It runs silently and uses one AA battery (not included). The battery is a tight fit but there is a ribbon in the compartment to aid with removal. The alarm beeps relatively quietly at first but then rises exponentially when not turned off until it is very shrill and difficult to ignore, however much you may wish to.I am very happy with it, especially because mine is in a lovely bright yellow colour, but I think it is very expensive at £30.00, at time of reviewing, for what it is, hence the dropped star.
