PGA TOUR 2K21 - Xbox One

This game very much runs in the same vein as the EA series of PGA Tour Golf, but it's improved in several ways, the swing dynamic can be customized to make it easier to use the joystick to swing the club since there is no 3 click button option. That way it's still great fun and you don't have the frustration of not swinging correctly with the joystick or because it's super fussy. While I miss the commentators from the EA version, the 2k guys are fine (they are pros) though the repetitive comments can get old after a bit. Also when playing 2 player, they seem to think the guest score is the same as the main player for their commentary, it's a quirk, but one that shouldn't occur in a Triple A game. The courses are beautiful, and there is plenty of gear to be purchased and tons of customization of your golfer. Aside from a few minor quirks you can't go wrong with this game, and at such a low price new it's well worth it for any golf game fan.

I've ordered golf games before and been disappointed.I Love this game! There is a pretty low learning curve. It has practice mode for every aspect, driving, short game, and putting so you can work out all of the kinks.There are Endless courses in the "Quick Match," mode! Courses others have designed, (More on that). some easier than others. Real pro courses, easy, moderate, intermediate, and harder courses, all fun and more than enough courses to keep you from ever getting bored!The commentary in Quick Match is excellent. it's a calming game with a mellow voice-over who announces your game and gives some advice as you play.There is a create your own course mode! Want your own dream course?? Make one! Make it near a beach in the mountains, desert, swamp, or a mixture of all of the above. You can then publish your course so others can enjoy it along with you! It gives this game so much value. There is a learning curve here! Some YouTube videos get you going so you can fulfill your dream course!There is a PGA tour mode. It's your career mode. You try out for the tour. If you finish in the top 10, you move on through the tours until you reach the PGA. The courses are Gorgeous and plentiful and the commentary is entertaining and accurate to what is taking place in your game. My advice is to play some of the created courses in "Quick Match," mode. A few games here and you should be able to power through the courses in the PGA tour!You're never stuck playing the same courses over and over.A bummer is you cannot play as your favorite pro golfer. You make your own golfer and take him, or her through each game. I don't care about this personally, but for some, it's a real disappointment.I'm older and was just looking for a golf game to relax with. I didn't want to learn every nuance of golf different swing meters, no guidance in the chipping game, and putting is just an educated guess. This game gives you help in all three facets! You can even do a virtual putt which shows you the trajectory of the ball before your actual putt. Yes it's a cheat, and you can turn it off if you want, but for me, screw it! I want it! I just want to have a good time and use it if I really want to, no guilt here, lol.I'm having a blast with this game. It's easy to learn and has several difficulty settings from beginner to difficult.So much to offer here in my humble opinion.If you're looking for a game with a million courses, that is easy to learn so you can just relax and play, or curse the day you were born depending on your difficulty settings, this game is for you!!

I've been looking for a golf simulation game that two people, (my wife and I) can play together on the same XBOX ONE console. This game does that and more. You can play at any level from beginner to advanced and have one great time. The simulation does a great job simulating all the nuances of real golf and lets you experience the joy of competing in local two to four people playing on the same console with same or different controllers assigned to various players. I don't play online, and I've really enjoyed the simulated pro tour competition (which you can adjust to be competitive with your level). But most of all I've enjoyed playing against my wife who is an actual better real life golfer than me. At least in the simulation I have a chance to be competitive. The simulation is easy to navigate, lets you customize your player. My wife is Korean and the simulation lets us create her image almost to a tee and create outfits and build a club set that suits her style of play. The course selection is non ending and you can pick from the simple to most demanding of courses with all the weather options (which can impact your play). This simulation finally delivers on all my expectations. If someone wants to be picky, you can complain about the occasional announcer miscues, and the less than perfect pro golf player images, but for experiencing the true nature of competitive golf, I don't think you will find a better game out there currently. For fun factor I give it a top rating, and for ease of navigating and playing the game, I give it also a top rating. I never write reviews but I've enjoyed this game so much I'm compelled to give it a two thumbs up.

Nice get because it lets you play on easy settings and just have a good time. Then, if you want you can turn up the difficulty. All while having good quality graphics.
