We bought this line cover to cover the lines of a COOPER AND HUNTER 9000 BTU 115V Single Zone Ductless Air Conditioner Mini Split Heat Pump 23 SEER unit.It worked as expected. We did spray paint the covers to match our siding. We bought exterior spray paint. It has lasted so far through a Summer, Fall and almost a whole winter.Covers were easy to install. They feel durable. The adjustable elbow was needed as we had to install this on a second floor and it allowed us to follow the roof line easier.These covers are expensive (in my opinion) but would highly recommend for both aesthetician protecting your lines!

The front of our house looks so much better after we installed the Hide-A-Line kit to cover the ugly, uncovered air conditioner (AC) line that the installer put across our house siding. (See before and after pics).The Line Cover Kit installation on the existing line went pretty smooth. I had to use a hacksaw to cut a slice in the back panel of the end piece to fit it around the existing pipe where it bends into the hole in the siding. Also, since I had to remove the original brackets holding the horizontal AC line in place, the AC line sagged over it's 14' length inside the line cover. I cut pieces from a roll of Galvanized Steel Hanger Strap and bent them around the AC line at 3 ft intervals, screwing them into the siding through the back cover panels, and this provided support to keep the AC line from sagging.The only real glitch I had was when screwing in the front of one of the coupler panels -- I over tightened it and the screw head snapped off, leaving the length of the screw in the plastic hole in the back of the coupler, so then the front of coupler wouldn't fit snuggly. I ended up ordering one new coupler section to replace that one. So, be careful not to over tighten the supplied screws when using a powered screw driver.I used the 4" line cover kit, and that left a gap around the end, where the AC line exits the cover kit, so I filled the gaps with spray insulating foam. After installation, the line cover was primed and painted by our house painters, and looks great.

Just as advertised , worked perfectly

Since I just installed this line cover I cannot say how it will hold up over time but it looks great and works as intended. It seems to be to be sturdy and it should last for quite some time but time will tell how well it survives the heat/cold and UV from sunlight. I have purchased two of these and they did not come with any sort of instructions however it was easy enough to figure out how to get everything assembled.

I purchased 2 of these sets. They were sturdier than I expected. In fact, it took a bit of strength to get them to snap together because the plastic is quite thick. They are easy to install and easy to trim. I had to modify a couple of pieces to fit my application but they can be cut, drilled, sanded, ground down easily. I am quite happy with how they look and preferred the look after they were painted to match the siding. I sprayed mine with some white primer first, but it may not be necessary. I got the 4" because I wanted plenty of room for the pipes and drain line inside without having to try to squeeze and manipulate stuff. There will also be room to add more pipes or replace with bigger ones later if needed. The two sets had enough pieces for me to install 2 ductless units with some leftover.Happy with the purchase. Showed up on time. Would recommend!

High quality and easy install. Does take a little effort to slide the main split sections together, but expect that’s the case because they will hold tight. One note about the head piece at top where the hvac lines exit the house. You will have to cut the base section with a hack saw if you are placing over an existing system. Just make one cut and you can slide it over the Freon, electrical, return, and condensate lines for a 2 ton unit. This was designed for a new installation not retrofit. You won’t see the cut as the cover piece hides it and you have three screws to fasten it to the house. No big deal.

Installed four sets in October/November 2024. The installation was straightforward and flexible enough to accommodate four different mini-split line configurations easily. However, the covers are prone to ugly yellowing from minimal exposure to direct sun. The photo shows yellowing on a run that sees only 2-3 hours of direct sun daily thanks to a large roof overhang that provides extensive shading.

Works great, looks great. Needed two people to squeeze the pieces together, but went smooth.
