Good purchase. Maintenance replacement after buying parts for self repair of factory recall item. Quality filter. Fit well. Still going strong. Regardless of manufacturer recommendation, change your transmission filter and fluid on a regular basis.

OEM filter - Amazon choice in packaging left something to be desired
The product is a Motorcraft filter in factory plastic packaging. It is the correct size and fit for a 2016 F150 and functions as intended. Installation is easy for the part after removing the entire transmission pan, the filter does fit loose in the transmission body. It is a Motorcraft filter so pricing is as expected. My only complaint is that Amazon chose to put this in a paper envelope with no padding or protection for shipment. The bottom pickup, made of metal, cut through the plastic packaging and paper envelope. Luckily, it wasn't bent or damaged. Likewise the tube with filter that inserts into the transmission body had rubbed through the plastic packaging. Given that this is plastic, there was a high risk of it being broken. Ironically, the same day I had a package of fishing swivels delivered in a cardboard box. The packaging for the two should have been reversed.

Original Ford part
This worked perfectly in my 2012 F150 and also shipped fast! Cost less than the dealer. GREAT STUFF

Great price for an OE part
Had to flush the trans on my 2016 F-150 3.5L ecoboost. I dropped the pan as well to change the gasket and the filter. So glad this OE part was available at this price. Ford dealership would have charged way more!

F150 Fluid and filter replace
Only use OEM in my ford transmission. Did the filter and fluid change to try and fix the dreaded shudder. No dice, but at least My fluid and filter are good until the TC bricks itself.

Exact same filter that was in my 2016 f-150 6R80 6 speed. Super easy installation, there's a great video on youtube that shows how to switch it. Just search 2016 f-150 transmission filter change. Enjoy folks!
