If I can build it, so can you!
Let me preface my review by saying I haven't put together a model kit in 25+ years. Back then I did car models that required glue and paint... They were way too much work. Thankfully, models have come a long way since then. Everything snaps together solidly and requires no glue or paint, although if you wanted to, there's no reason why you couldn't. A nice high-gloss paint would look awesome, but the colored plastic pieces do Metal Garurumon enough justice as is.I was immediately overwhelmed when I saw so many different pieces and instructions with minimal text explanation. I began to regret making such an impulsive purchase and considered that buying something more simple to start off with might've been a better idea. Reservations aside, I dove straight in. The instructions are only a bit better than you'd find with Ikea furniture, but easy enough to follow. After getting my bearings, discovering how to remove the pieces and clean the edges, about 30 mins later I had only assembled Metal Garurumon's head. Still, I found myself thinking: 'this isn't so bad.'The complete build took me just short of 5 hours with a few breaks. Granted, I had no idea what I was doing when I started and then once I got in a groove I got complacent and messed up. I had to disassemble the back legs and reorient them from the knees down because I built them backwards. Hey, got confused! The level of articulation and detail is fantastic. This completed model is not an action figure, so don't expect to be able to play with it as such. It holds together just fine and can stand on its own without the included stand. That being said, the stand does offer more dynamic posing. In all honesty, I didn't have to think very hard to find a con of this product. The decals. There's a small sticker sheet which includes the eyes and accents. While they definitely improve the overall finished look, they're a pain to place. I recommend using tweezers to place them and they definitely take a steady hand to get aligned properly.Anyway, this model kit definitely revived a decades old hobby of mine. I know I'll be doing more kits like these in the future. The entire process was relaxing and left me with a great sense of accomplishment. I don't know what level of difficulty a model like this is considered, but if I was able to put it together with minimal mistakes, so can you!

It Is What It Is and I Love It
It is a plastic model metal garurumon figure. It is a pretty model and fun to put together. Comes with a stand. There are extra stand parts. Comes with a part to put the wings together into a blade.

Gabumon warp digivolve to...Metalgarurumon!
This is only the second model kit I've ever built, but boy was it fun! I think it took me maybe about 4-5 hours of pretty consistent work, but I spent a lot of time sanding and buffing because I really wanted it to look good. The stickers didn't stick very well initially, but with a little patience, they ended up sticking fine. I was told that maybe washing the pieces might help but I felt like they stuck well enough eventually so did not take that step. Unfortunately, some of the little tabs you snip off created tiny bubbles during casting/printing where they met the piece itself, so a few of my pieces had small defects in the edges, but they really aren't noticeable once it's built. That's really my only gripe, as the rest of it is really nice quality. The instructions are in both Japanese and English, which is really great. They're easy to follow, but only the 2nd half is in color just because of the way the booklet was printed. I had no trouble finding the right pieces and putting everything together. Overall I'm really excited about this guy joining my growing collection, and feel like the $52 I spent was absolutely worth it for an awesome model of the evolution of my favorite Digimon, Gabumon! Love my Metalgarurumon!!

Wolf of Friendship
Instructions were easy to follow and straightforward. Model looks fantastic after being put together. Must have for any Gabumon/Garurumon line fan.Only issue, the joints can be a little stiff when posing. Use caution when posing to avoid damaging.

METALGARURUMON IN ANOTHER LEVEL!
This model kit is all I hoped for. Comes with a base, wings can be made into a sword which I haven't tried yet but I will. Fun to build, looks so menacing, great quality and worth every penny.

Overall, great figure and worth buying
joints are very stiff which is good for maintaining its pose with great stability(be careful not to twist front arms too hard without supporting gold pieces near them. they can snap if you aren't careful) . Best support arm design I've seen(very stable and adjustable). My only peeves are lack of directions for remaining stickers, as well as lack of directions for extra pieces for display stand(extra clear peices and black). I had to figure out which red stickers go near the eyes, which I and damaged them a bit(though I managed to fix it).

Super cool model kit
Bought this as a gift for my husband. It was his first time building a model kit, but he didn't have any problems putting it together and was very happy with the outcome. The only complaint I have is that the box came partially crushed (thankfully, nothing inside was broken). It wasn't put inside a cardboard shipping box at all (it was the actual metal garurumon box with a label slapped on), which I was pretty surprised by, so it could have easily have been damaged during shopping.
