Motherlove Shatavari Organic Herbal Breastfeeding Supplement for Female Hormone Balance and Lactation Support, 2 oz Liquid Tincture

I have only been taking for a short time so I will update after a month or two of use. If you are new to tinctures, I can understand the reviews of horrible taste, however if you’ve taken tinctures before this is a mild tasting tincture compared to others. To me the taste doesn’t bother me at all. I am taking for pcos/digestion not increasing milk supply, so we will see how effective it is at helping that aspect of the body.

Bought this after trying so many things to get my wife to produce milk. It worked but increased production only a tiny amount. We ended up just having to use formula all the time since we couldn't get enough milk to even matter.We had really high hopes for this product but just didn't work for us.

The taste is not enjoyable FOR ME. But as long as its effective (which it has been), I can get past that. I use this when I have a drop in supply during my period. I also use Motherloves More Milk Plus, which works well too. I would recommend this to other nursing mothers.

I started taking 2-4X a day when my supply plummeted with ovulation and menstruation around 8 months postpartum. This was the only thing that helped! I tried it all, essential oils, teas, fenugreek, goats rue, moringa, oatmeal, upping vitamin, water and protein intake, brewers yeast, flaxseed, you name it! It helped me to maintain supply when I couldn't even pump an ounce! Tastes terrible, but effective!

I used this and the Benevolent Lactation Support drops. I’ve been using both and OMG my supply has returned! My baby is 8m and my supply was low due to him starting to eat solids and pumping less. It took about a week of both supplements and adding an extra pumping session. I now have extra milk and my breasts are fuller again. The downside is this the horrible alcohol taste. It’s literally worse than Herb Lore’s nursing tincture in taste. Would buy again. I just wish they could improve on taste.

It's has a very nasty taste.. I will not be buying again.. and I have not seem any increase in milk supply.

Motherlove Shatavari has helped increase my milk supply and kept it stable after returning to work.
