Women's Alphacross W Trail Running Shoe

Best fitting and comfortable athletic shoe. This is my second pair. My first I still have after two years and they look perfect. Not a single stitch out of place. Solomon is the best quality shoe I have worn in 36 years of gym going. They look so cool too.

Bought these for my wife. I ordered her a size 7 based on reviews of how they run big in sizing. She normally wears an 8 in women’s tennis shoes. The 7 was to small so we exchanged for a 7 1/2 which fit perfectly she says. The exchange went flawlessly I might add. She had her replacement pair in 2 days. She loves the way they feel and look and says they are by far the most comfortable athletic shoes she has ever worn. Highly recommend this shoe and kudos for the prompt and virtually immediate exchange.

I will start by saying this is my first Soloman pair of shoes, I've heard they make amazing shoes so I decided to give them a try. I do not have other trail runners to compare them to.I have your average size 8 foot. I've worn size 8 my entire adult life, I do not have wide or narrow feet. Based on the reviews I ordered a size 7, they fit perfectly. I used Amazon Wardrobe to try them on first before buying, recommend you do the same. I wore them around the house for a couple hours and they felt fine. So I decided to keep and try them outdoors.I'm a beginner trail jogger and only jog a little over a mile a day 5 times a week. The first time I jogged, the middle toes on my left foot felt tingly/asleep. It went away after a short time as I kept going. I do not have the shoes super tight or anything. I thought that they'd stretch a bit with more wear so I didn't return. I am a few weeks into using them down and my left foot middle toes still occasionally go tingly/asleep for a short time. I do wonder if it would have been better if I'd got size 7.5 instead. I only use them about an hour a day so I am keeping them. They are comfy and super grippy on all terrains I've been on (grass, dirt, gravel, rocky, uneven). They are not water resistant at all, even jogging through morning grass will soak through. I love the purple color! I'd order again, I'd just try 7.5 next time.

I read reviews before purchasing. Everyone said go with one size smaller. I did - I’m usually and 8 and got a 7 because I have a narrow foot. Glad I did. It was a perfect fit. Straight out the box went for 4 mile run in the woods. Super comfy. Love them.

I ordered a size 8.5 when I normally wear a size 9 to 10.5 because other reviewers claimed they run too big well I normally wear a size wide in mens shoes and these were too narrow. I did fit in the 8.5 but it wasnt wide enough . If you're a large framed person just order your usual size if not one bigger to try first. They were high quality shoes but unfortunately didnt fit me .

Definitely get a half to full size down for this shoe. My feet are sized at a 9.5 but I usually get 10s for comfort so I bought a 9.5 in the Salomons. They need to be broken in to get to that comfort level and I switched out the insoles for superfeet. These are the best pair of sneakers I have ever bought they a lightweight and durable. The fabric can definitely take a beating. These are much better than your average Nike’s and Reeboks, worth the actual price you pay.

I have had 3 pairs of solomons- each pair all different, speedcross 3 and speedcross 4 and now these. First 2 I ordered in size 8 my normal size...both way too big!!! So i ordered a size down in these 7.5 fits pretty good...I may have even been able to go down to a 7 but I will keeps these and just wear a thicker sock!! So far I LOVE THESE!!! I wasnt huge on the purple color...but I actually like it alot!These have tradition shoe laces...I wish they had the other kind my speedcross have...just pull to tighten. But so far that's my only dislike...but not a big deal!!!

The shoe fit fine and has served me well enough. However, they immediately gave me blisters on the back of my heels; I now wear socks that go over my ankles which I purchased to deal with this issue. The shoe all these months later shows a little wear in the tread, but otherwise remains intact... except for the inside of the heels which has worn down exposing the hard support and has resumed giving me blisters, even through my socks, and the layer of bandaids I have added to my daily routine. The heels really are the down fall of these shoes. I won’t tell you they were terrible, but the inconvenience from the start has been such that I definitely won’t be buying them again.

I run as part of my job. These shoes have started to crack across the top and now a hole has developed and only run a couple of hundred miles.They are much too heavy as well. It is probably more that I prefer more barefoot style. I had chosen these as I run with dogs so wanted something sturdy but find they are not particularly comfortable and cause some aching around heel.

I really like Salomon products, so don't know what happened here. These shoes fit well, look good and are comfortable to walk in, but on wet rocks, pavement or grass they are literally like roller skates...NO GRIP AT ALL IN THE WET and quite dangerous

This is a good, wide trainer across the toes, however I didn't feel it was quite wide enough across the instep. I have kept them in the hope that they will stretch slightly, because, other than that, they are really very comfortable. Nicely padded and a decent amount of support. I would recommend, but don't be surprised if they're not quite the right shape for your foot!

The shoes look good, but they are not too light and not too cushioned. At least they have a good grip. I have normal sized feet usually wear 7-7.5 so I ordered 7.5 as I wanted to use them during winter too with thick socks. The length is good for a 7.5 but they are too wide. My feet are not stable as the shoes don't hold them and you can't tighten even with the laces. These Salomon shoes don't live up to the expectations there are cheaper brands with better fitting and lighter weight so they need to be sent back.

If this is the recommended replacement for the Speedcross 4 then I don't agree - comparing the two together - the fit is wide and feels baggy and does not have the structured feel of the speedcross 4 - it does not have the quick tie up laces - generally I am not happy with this purchase. I have to wear thicker socks so the shoe will fit but they are still wide across the front - my partner says I look like I have ducks feet when wearing them.
