Honeywell Filter Retainer for N Series Filters,White

This holds the pre-filter pads over the standard larger filters. Very important to have the pre-filter pads as they trap significant amounts of dust and airborne chemicals from things like scraping rust or grinding or sanding rusty metal and sawdust from wood and most importantly spray paint. Works perfectly with Honeywell filters and the N95 pre-filter pads.

Simple device. Snap on. Secure tight fit. Comes with the filter holders that you may or may not need, depending on the style of your filters. Would be nice if there was a way to snap them in so you don't forget of loose them when you DO need them.

Only gave these 4 stars since the plastic lid did not fit the cartridge. I was able to use the filter with the old lid. These replacements were suggested when I ordered the replacements.

You better be sure of the seize of your filter cartridge before you get these. Maybe I go the after market ones. I thought not but the ones I purchased are too small for these to work.

Bought the cartridges separate as they are required with mask. Also a great tip is to buy the cheap filters to fit the outside of mask for longer cartridge usage. Duct tape and Beer cooler cut to size and there u go.

FYI, does not include filter/pre-filter. Seller was nice to deal with.

It does the thing

30 years ago used to be a great company Survivair, which could produce two part dust filters for heavy dust environment. Inside fine filter was from pleated paper to filter the fine particles. Outside felt filter was catching the heavy dust. It worked like dream. The North American dust masks, which have been obviously the best on the planet. The company got sold to 2 satanistic companies 3M & Honeywell & they do the very last not to supply anything what could protect people using their filter masks. Their products cannot be combined. The felt filter cannot be combined with pleated paper filter. The pleated filters get ridiculously tiny. That's why there is so many sick people with asthma, sleep apnea, etc.I bought this to combine it with the help of several layers of duct tape with the other company's pleated paper filter.
