If you need a good black light to charge you glow discs, this one has been working well for me! Granted, part of a good glow round experience is having the discs you need for the course in glow plastic that really holds its glow and reacts quickly to UV from a flashlight. Once you have that in place, this is a great flashlight. It is small enough to put in the accessory pocket of my disc golf bag, and I have even put it in the back pocket of my jeans. In spite of the small barrel size, the face of the black light is pretty large, and I was able to charge discs more quickly than my friend with a black light whose face was no larger than the barrel. I’m a bit of a klutz, so I can tell you after numerous bobbles and at least two crashes into pavement, the casing was roughened a bit. Fortunately there is no discernible deformation, the light still works, and the batteries were successfully changed! This is a handy little light to keep with you, even if you’re not playing a glow round. I threw a white disc into some thick, off-the fairway brush and brambles. After an unfruitful first look, I grabbed the black light and panned around the area, making the corner of the white disc pop among the dead foliage. This technique seems to work well with neon colored discs in particular.

I purchased on a whim to follow up on some strange odors in our home office that I thought were due to our dogs. GearLight makes some really great headlamps and flashlights and I had faith that this would not disappoint. Long story short - The light helped to determine that the smell wasn't the dogs, it ended up being a small roof leak causing mold and mildew inside the wall. This light is awesome and my wife accuses me of using my new toy too much. It is bright and we used it this Halloween to illuminate some neon colored items and then I found its true calling and used it to scan our kids bedroom, the bathrooms, the kitchen and more! Then I found the areas where the potty missed, previously unseen messes on the carpet and other things. I probably shouldn't have told my wife, "Hey look at this! You missed another spot while cleaning." as it almost led to a fight. The light is awesome for outdoors too. My son and I did some rock collecting and found a few cool specimens that fluoresced under the black light and even found that LED and CFL lamps light up under the light. We saw the brighteners in our laundry detergent and found that chinchillas don't glow under black light.

I bought this light to charge glow discs for night rounds of disc golf. It does an excellent job for it's intended use and has been very durable so far . Just as good as the more expensive lights some of my friends have. I've had zero issues with the light.

OMG, Have had my rescue dog for a few years and I knew that he had accidents plus sometimes would just go ahead and lift his leg to pee whenever and wherever he wants to but did not know how extensive it was. Told my husband that now we must move. The carpet is done and is so bad that new carpet is the only answer. And it's not just the carpet. We're talking furniture and whole house. Oh yes, this light is a very high quality made product. After I put batteries in, it didn't work so I unscrewed top part, took apart and put back together and it worked just fine. Bright, easy to hold. I got the 68 LED. If I had known how bad my dogs problem was I would have gotten the 100 LED. Yes I highly recommend this, unless you are a total germ-a-phobic. I NOW CAN NEVER UNSEE WHAT I SAW......lol

I bought this specifically to check for puppy accidents on the carpet, and unfortunately it didn’t work very well for that. The light does turn on and gives off a UV glow, but it wasn’t strong enough to clearly highlight any spots unless I was extremely close and even then it was hard to tell. It might be okay for very basic use, but for pet mess detection on carpets, it didn’t really do the job I needed it to do.

Lets you see the dried blood! ...and other bodily fluids. We bought this to find where one of our cats had been spraying and it works well.

Doesn’t work. I was in pitch pitch black house. I have a puppy and know he tinkles everywhere when excited literally didn’t show a thing up except for crisps my son had dropped on the floor

Great for puppy training if there is a potty issue. Those pee stains stand right out under the light.

Bought this to go night crawler hunting. Price of worms for fishing right now is ridiculous. This seems to not startle them as much as the black light finds them a lot easier.
