Definitely my dog's favorite toy! It has held up pretty well.

Our pup is 8lbs and LOVES to hump, suck, and then destroy her toys. This is the second lion that we have purchased in 6 years. The first one we broke down and threw away after about 4 years. I didn't even remember that it had a mane because she eats that off first. As for the durability. No dog toy is going to be indestructible if you have a dog that loves to chew.... So please take that into consideration. With that being said I have since tried about 20-30 different toys in the past 2 years looking for something that she could get a long time use out of. This is the only toy we have found that she isn't able to get the squeaker out of in about 3 hours. I mean it took her 4 years last time, this time I'm sure she will be faster because she isn't a puppy anymore. But still, every other toy brand has died much faster.She loves the size of this toy, even though she is little... she loves her big toys. :)We tried the triceratops by the same company and she broke into that one in about 8months-year. Which is a good amount of time for a dog toy... :)

I love how sturdy and strong this dog toy is and when my dog finally does chew it up, it is packed with stuffing and the squeaker is encased in fabric so as for the dog not to choke on it. Everything about this toy is safe for dogs and it lasts so much longer than regular squeaker toys.

Over a year ago I bought a Mighty Dog Toy Lion which my 68 lb. flat-coated retriever loved and carried around everywhere.Recently the Lion's head was ripped off so I purchased from Amazon what I thought was the same thing but turned out to be a much smaller version it.I put the toy aside thinking to return it. Before I realized my dog grabbed it and the small lion was ripped apart in less than a minute with stuffing all over the place. Wish I got a video of it but it was too quick.This toy is for small dogs probably under 20 lbs. For large dogs skip this and look for the larger version  VIP Products Mighty Linus Lion Safari Dog Toy, Tan .Buyer beware: make sure you check the dimensions before buying.

its not as durable as stated he only had it for 4 days and tore the arm off he's a Pomeranian the thing is almost as big as he is. But I don't care this lion is the only thing my dog loves to play with.....

Within 15 minutes the tail and a leg were missing. Does not hold up.

This has been holding up very well. I did resew a seam that broke open with heavier thread. Not a problem. The lion is still holding up great. My dog LOVES it!

Bought this as a toy for my dog, which it is supposed to be for. Within 5 minutes of having it, my dog had virtually bitten off the tail and ripped the material. It was beautifully made, but the material needs to be stronger if it supposed to be for animals.
