Saran Cling Plus Plastic Wrap, 200 Sq Ft, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

Don’t bother with those other brands, this is the original plastic wrap and there’s a reason it’s called cling wrap. It sure does cling. To itself, to the counter, but best of all to whatever it is you’re wrapping.

We love the original Saran, but can't get it in our grocery store any more. They only sell the store brand, and it doesn't perform like this! Easy to cut and easy to use, it seals perfectly and securely.

My only complaint on this product is the placement of the really sharp cutting blade. I swear it isn't for left handed people. YES IT IS HARD TO USE. It is Saran Wrap. It is hard to use because it works and sticks to what you want it to. It sticks when your hands are wet, doesn't slide off, doesn't turn into a lump. GREAT Value for the money because you use less and don't have to wrap a mile of plastic to encase things like wet cantaloupe or melon or steamy bowls of leftover pasta. Excellent Excellent product.

Works well for what it is intended for, but gets stuck easily if you lose the end

I am of the party who prefers the cutting edge to be at the bottom of the box, not part of the lid, and I have actively looked for boxes designed my preferred way. Saran Wrap (not Cling Wrap) seems to be the only brand that has this design. I have found that the plastic wrap tends to fold into itself when the cutting edge is on the lid, and then you have to pull it apart, which is annoying. I also prefer the regular plastic wrap thickness, not the thicker premium because the premium does not cling as well.

So much better to buy this big roll, than get the dinky rolls at the supermarket. This roll lasts forever. And the stick strip on the cling hold after cutting, always stays in place. Unusual, and welcomed!

Putting blade sharp. Cuts on hands.

I know its seems silly to write a review about cling wrap, but this is the queen of them all. If you're reading this review, you probably care enough to make it worth it to buy this! I actually have a silly expertise in this matter because my German relatives always ask me to bring Saran from the states with me when I visit because they don't really have anything comparable there. over the years I've tested them all! And this takes the cake. It does everything you want it to do, and given how many ways other plastic wraps can be obnoxious, its impressive and worth buying. Pros: - It sticks to everything you want it to stick to (glass, most plastics, (not metals really, but none do)), and it sticks to itself (however, the easy dispensation means that this is never a problem) - The box is strong enough that even with some force it doesn't fall apart on you - The serration is at the bottom, not the top, meaning a little bit of plastic always hangs over the front as opposed to being stuck inside, which makes for much easier access - strong and doesn't fall apart after picking up condensation from something in the fridge. Cons: none as of yet. Basically, the fact that I and anyone else takes the time to write a review of something as mundane as saran wrap should be evidence of the fact that it will actually make a big difference in your life. Particularly if you spend most of your day in the kitchen like I do!!
