We purchased this clock for our kitchen. The clock is as pictured on the website, dark brown with off white numbers and comes with two sets of hands. The gold hands were on the clock and the black hands were included in the box. The clock is keeping time perfectly and is very quiet. The reason for the four star rating is the completely confusing and poorly written instructions that came with the clock. There is no mention of removing the cover to the motor compartment on the back of the clock in order to get to the battery and the dial to adjust the time. It only talks about “removing the cap nut” on the front of the clock. Luckily, my husband was able to figure it out, and also that access to the battery and dial will be much easier now with the cover of the compartment removed. If you are not the “handyman type”, this clock might be a challenge for you.

When I revamped my guest bedroom/office, I started considering putting a large clock on the wall. I wanted something that would make a statement, yet also be functional. I was concerned, though, that the ticking noise would be too loud for when guests stay over. As I started searching, I came across silent clocks, which I had never heard of before! Perfect solution! This one had good reviews and I'm so happy with my choice. It was packaged well and had the choice of 2 different colored hands (I went with the darker color). I like the contrast it provides on the wall. It is lightweight and was easy to hang. The frame is a brown metal. The numbers are whitish with brown paint, not chrome or gold. It really ties in the rustic look, with its own unique elegance. I love it!

Both sets of hands were not easy to see, which made it hard to read the time, even when it was hung against a light background.

Had issues trying to change the hands. The dark ones can be hard to read. Of well still a nice looking clock on our wall

Instructions do not inform the customer how to access the battery compartment. I've tried everything I can think of, but I don't want to break the clock.

•The clock feels very cheap. •The hands have alot of play in them.• Clock mechanism is loose.• It is hard to see the hands.• The battery cover you just pull off although it feels like you will break the whole damn thing.Imo not worth the amount of money.
