Does this stay in place when you move the driver's seat forward or backward?

It will probably need to be adjusted after moving the seat.

Compatible with a 2010 Hond Fit?

Yes this armrest should fit for a 2010 Hond Fit

Is there an equivalent to this product that will work for a car with manual brakes?

Hi thanks for your question. This armrest will NOT fit the cars with manual brakes because it will affect the using of brakes when driving. Many manual brakes are designed in the gaps between the drivers' seats. We don't have an equivalent armrest like this, but we have another armrest which is put on the side doors. you can check this ASIN out: B082Y63N6C Hope that helps.

Will this fit a 2018 Kia Soul+?
